A B-list comedian and an old Jew walk into a room...
That statement should placate the haters..
This is an excellent documentary. We live in strange times when arguments, debate, and free speech are not allowed. This documentary tells several stories of people that had their free speech threatened.
Stories from the left and right. And the cartoons are cute.

I read a lot of the "pro-conservative" aspects surrounding this movie, but that just scratches the surface. No Safe Spaces takes a deep dive into the potential harm America faces in regards to silencing our god given rights to free speech. It takes us throughout history and how important it is for our society to maintain our first amendment for EVERYONE, despite what side of the political aisle you sit.
The film shows conservative speakers being threatened, abused and shouted down in order to silence them and universities indoctrinating our youth into not thinking for themselves. At the same time, it makes you think how lucky we are to be able to say what we want and what we feel without the fear of persecution and how we, as a society, need to protect this right.
The film is done very well, and brings the audience an eye-opening experience about our rights as human beings that should never be infringed on. The theatre was packed and when the lights turned on most people had tears in their eyes, as did I and my date. The movie teaches us that it is important to listen, learn and understand each persons point of view and that we should never back down from speaking our minds. Only through dialogue, communication and respect for others will we ever be able to understand each individuals unique perspective, and No Safe Spaces emphasizes this perfectly.
Do yourself a favor and go see this, it's powerful!
All Americans need to see this, no matter what your political stance is. Freedom of speech, even speech we hate, is sacred. America must be a "safe space" where everyone has the freedom to openly debate and argue all viewpoints.
Note: One of the one star reviews of this, by "petercoolidge" suggests speech on campus is not a First Amendment issue since its one sided repression is not "government" oppression. I suggest peter retake civics 101. In fact most of the schools corolla has noted are GOVERNMENT institution, eg UC Berkely is. And any school that takes government funds (and they virtually all do) is in fact beholden to the Bill of Rights.
Moreover Corolla mainly addressing the gernal PC police culture of whining, crying, triggered culture that is now taught at many schools. If peter had watched the film, and it is clear he has not, he would know it isn't even mainly about the First Amendment. Rather it is about a cultural shift toward whining, agreement instead of achievement.
Fact is there is a powerful irony. This film literally could run as an advert on CNN or MSNBC and their idiot viewers thinking it was just a commercial for a school and not knowing it was a satire!

This is "anti-gay" according to one of the delusional 'reviewers'. Perhaps they should learn a little about Dave Rubin before spouting such garbage. Dave is a sensible, fair and well balanced man. More of a man than the combined manhood of a bus load of the beta-progressive 'men' we hear so much from today. And Dave is married to a man.
This is an excellent and important film that everyone should see.
