What worked:
It's rare to see a movie that keeps you so engaged in the narrative although you have watched the movie with the same or similar topic multiple times in movies. It's one of those movies that keeps you glued for its phenomenal screenplay and narrative to start. It's a nicely done writing with some fine layers. One of the positive aspects of the movie which makers usually miss is to decipher the characters' psyche, and it's done beautifully here. The introspection scenes added the needed push in the movie and that helped enrich the depth in character's persona and their journey. All the casts were great, Tanuja stole the show. All the characters are very well written, making it a very heartwarming movie viewing experience. It's humorous but mostly warm and sentimental. Overall, a very powerful movie that deserves a watch at least once
What did not work:
I would have been happier if the entire family had the cathartic experience where they all have their moments of self realization, not just the leads. Of course it's their story afterall and what better way than giving the space for their emotional bonding.
