In Eraser, Nishikata is trying to taunt Takagi using an improvised jack-in-a-box. Takagi expresses frustration in opening her pencil case, so she asks Nishikata to open it for her. Nishikata opens the case and a horror-themed improvised jack-in-a-box pops in front of him. Takagi chuckles as Nishikata left in shock. In Day Duty, Nishikata goes to school and sees Takagi on the window. As he arrives in their classroom, Nishikata couldn't find Takagi until he sees her pair of shoes underneath of their teacher's table. Deducing that she is hiding, Nishikata bluffs by leaving the classroom but sneakily approaches the cabinet behind his desk. However, Takagi is not there, as well as underneath of their teacher's table. Nishikata sits down on his desk and Takagi pops out from the curtain besides him. Yet again, Nishikata fumbles in humiliation. In Funny Face, Nishikata asks his classmate for a perfect funny face that would make Takagi hysterically laugh. As he tries to make a funny face to Takagi, the latter gives him tips for a much improved and even funnier face. However, as he turns his head while in funny face, he faces their teacher and scolds him. In One-Hundred Yen, earlier Nishikata thinks of it as a hundred yen coin but it turns out that it is just only an arcade token. Mina, along with Sanae and Yukari, walks home. Mina suddenly stops and steps on the coin. Yukari dismisses Mina that she just stepped on an arcade token.

Mina believes she's mature enough to enjoy coffee, but Yukari and Sanae think otherwise. On a rainy day, Takagi-san has forgotten her umbrella. Will Nishikata come to his rescue?

Nishikata is put on cleaning duty as a punishment for interrupting class. As he goes to the cleaning supply storage, Takagi-san is there! Was she put on cleaning duty too?

Nishikata is studying hard for the test for the sake of his video games when Takagi-san enters the library. Takagi-san teaches him how to solve a math problem, but Nishikata can't help but think she's up to not good.

On the way back home, Nishikata is excited about the coming summer holidays. Takagi asks him if he wants to ride a bike with her. Nishikata refuses at first, but somehow starts practicing riding a bike - with Takagi sitting at the back.

Nishikata is at the mall to buy the latest volume of "100% Unrequited Love" when he runs into Takagi-san. She wants Nishikata to help her pick out a bathing suit, but Nishikata is too embarrassed to be seen with her.

A typhoon blows on the first day of the new semester. Nishikata, on his way to school, feels excited about the strong wind. Just as he starts pretending to be the controller of the winds, Takagi comes around the corner of the street.

Nishikata receives his first cell phone and can't wait to play tricks on Takagi-san. He sends her a scary video to frighten her, but it doesn't quite work. As usual, Takagi-san has the upper hand when it comes to teasing.

Takagi-san and Nishikata compare heights to see if Nishikata did indeed grow. But as always, her method is unusual. Meanwhile, Yukari is curious about the two because they're always hanging out together. Are Takagi-san and Nishikata going out?
