Dasari Sivaji(Mohan Babu) loses track of his daughter Gayathri(Nikhila Vimal) right after her birth. He puts in constant efforts to find out the well-being of his child but fails many a time. As time passes by, Gayatri develops hatred towards her father for not being with her in difficult times. After a point, she comes to know the actual story and finds out that her father is not the one to be blamed. Finally, Sivaji meets his daughter and just when everything seems to be going well, Gayatri Patel(Mohan Babu) enters the scene and pushes the family neck-deep into problems. Rest of the story is as to how Sivaji comes out of this tricky situation and saves his daughter.
Gayatri thrives on high voltage performance of Mohan Babu & Vishnu Manchu. The legendary actor is too good at portraying various emotions and this takes the movie to a whole new level. The variations that the senior actor shows while essaying two completely different roles is quite commendable. The movie runs on good family emotions as the lead cast does a decent job in making the film look more appealing.
Manchu Vishnu impresses with his ease in acting and fluent dialogue delivery. He performs to the best of his capabilities and brings a lot of depth to the film. All his combination scenes with Brahmanandam evokes decent laughs. Shreya does well within her limitations and supports Vishnu nicely. Comedians Ali and Prudhvi played their parts well.

I dared to watch the total 130 min of this movie and decided write my first review here. It is produced by Mohan babu to boast Mohan babu directed and written by Mohan babu. It seems the director may be a mere puppet just to put a screen name. Waste of 130 min time in my life. I wonder why they take such films.
In the name of rimake this movie is so annoying. Original one is far better then this.
Reasons to watch this movie: None.
Reasons to NOT watch this movie: Mohan Babu's Over-Action, Too much Mohan Babu (it feels like a movie to just boost his idiotic ego), Vishnu (seriously, when will he learn how to act?), horrible direction (every other minute, there's some stupid thing happening, which is absolutely unbelievable/unnecessary), horrible dialogues (actually, the film just had Mohan Babu's monologues. His hunger for screen space is extremely evident), etc. There are too many reasons that I won't list, because it's just a waste of time.
Honestly speaking, I just watched about the first 36 minutes, and I couldn't go on. I still watched it for 36 minutes, because I wanted to keep my mind open, and try and think that there's at least one frame in the movie which might be decent. But no, there wasn't even a single frame in the movie which was decent. Hats off to the director to make such a horrendous movie.
My humble message to Manchu family (except Manchu Manoj): Learn how to ACT, first. Start reading good scripts/stories. Be professional in your approach to movie making. Don't make fun of your own family, stop the self-praising, instead, let others see your work and then let them appreciate your work. If your work is truly a genuine masterpiece, you will be appreciated for the work.
In the end, I just want to say this -- "Don't watch this movie. Period."

"Mohan Babu playing a stage artiste, who's also a master of disguise. As a result, we have reel after reel of 'substantial proof' that there's no one like Mohan Babu when he plays another version of his onscreen persona. Call it indulgence or a solid attempt to re-introduce the legend of Mohan Babu to a new generation, his presence in the film is so overwhelming that the plot itself gets a secondary treatment.
So, what is the plot? This is the story about Shivaji (Mohan Babu), a middle-aged man, who is a stage artiste by profession. On the other hand, he goes out of his way to fund orphanages across the country. Why? Because he believes that it might help him to meet his long-lost daughter. But fate has other plans, and after several twists and turns, he's forced to make a difficult choice when he meets Gayatri Patel (also played by Mohan Babu).
High Lights: Background Score and Songs Story Mohan babu and Vishnu Manchu Screenplay Direction
The combination of Mohan Babu and Vishnu Manchu is also a hit combo. When they all teamed up for ""Gayatri"", it reached expectations."
