Marketed as a horror picture, this is more of a drama with elements of the macabre. Fast moving and exciting, with an absorbing cast and plot. Also excellent night-time photography. It may feel like a bit of a letdown, but still worth your time.

So trying to get out of one's past life is harder than one might think. Interesting film that becomes more interesting at the end. Acting and direction are good, and production solid. The main problem I have with the film is that all the characters are miserable in their lives, leading me not to care about the outcome.

It was nice to see Blackpool used as the set location in a movie for once, but this was hamstrung by budget, script and, in some cases, the acting.
Craig Lynch was as good as ever, so was Jessamine Bliss Bell, Frances Barber not.
The final twist makes it interesting but cannot explain away all the plotholes. A shame, as it had the makings of a good, budget version of 'The Game'.

Being from Blackpool and seeing the local paper sing it's praises, I thought I'd give it a go. I usually like Craig Kelly but this was basically a poor man's Lock Stock. Unnecessary foul language, wooden acting and an ending that could be seen from space.

The movie starts with endless, boring nattering between two guys, but after 15 minutes it's enough to realize this film is nothing but a trick to get you watching. Don't waste your time. The actors don't know how to act either - that must be the treat part.

Great film with superb acting. and love Blackpool city. If you're from Blackpool, you should watch. If you're from rest of UK, you should also watch.

Blackpool shines in this twisty British thriller and Trick Or Treat unravels steadily before firmly finding the accelerator. Quality British screen names also shine with the likes of Jason Flemyng, Shaun Parks and Frances Barber doing what they do best, and the Kelly brothers taking the leads in this tense who - what - why - when - done it...
Polished, domestic indie.
No spoilers, give it a go.

A veritable who's who of UK acting talent - Jason Flemyng, Shaun Parkes, Frances Barber, Hugo Speer and many more - and a great script propel this intense, fast-paced UK crime thriller. There are twists galore, funny moments throughout, and the illuminations of Blackpool makes for a unique cinematic backdrop. The film is also a well-thought out meditation on male mid-life crisis, but never gets bogged down in it. Well worth a watch.

Great movie. Stellar performances by the Kelly brothers, and the script is full of dark, dry British humour (think 'Lock, Stock...') with a superb ending. Cult potential.

Great to see our fine crop of British actors doing their thing again in this lively film. Interesting characters we get to know at a good pace, with the holy-grail of Blackpool as a back-drop. Expect the b&b's to be inundated once we're allowed out again. Nice script. Right bit of humour and edge in this dark twisty plot. Good fun. Enjoy it. I'll be watching it again at the end of October.

Great thriller with lots of tricks and plenty of visual treats. Class cast and performances. Special cameo too. See it, you won't be disappointed - and you don't have to British. It's about being past your peak, or is it?

What a pleasant surprise! A quirky, original Brit movie that keeps taking unexpected plot turns and builds to a very satisfying climax.
Craig Kelly gives a fantastic performance in the lead role. He is totally convincing as a former 90s "lad" who has lost his mojo after returning to his home town of Blackpool and becoming a father. He is pulled into a nightmarishly bizarre situation by his brother (a very strong -and funny-performance by Kelly's real life brother, Dean).
A strong supporting cast give a range of deliberately eccentric performances. All production credits are high. I was particularly impressed by the cinematography-Blackpool has never looked so strangely beautiful.

Great movie!!
I was told to give it a watch by a friend who said, it may not be your thing, but give it a go as it's a really interesting movie.
It did not dissapoint!!
I thoroughly enjoyed it, found it unique and different to many of the cliche films we are now seeing and I found that actor(s) great!!
The movie keeps you on your toes from start to finish and is funny, intense, mysterious and dark at different times.
Definitely worth a watch and 10 stars for being a low budget independent English movie.
My wife and I are actually hoping for a sequel!!hehe
Give it watch people and support these great Indie movies.
