Vikas Bahl director of the film and one of the producers of the film under the Phantom banner was accused of sexual misconduct by his employee.The other partners decided to withheld his name from the film after the incident.But now those charges are cleared and he will be credited as director.

This step is taken to encourage viewership of this film highlighting the importance of teachers and education in society, especially important as Bihar struggles with India's lowest literacy rate.
More than 15,000 kids aged 15-17 from the slums of Bihar, Varanasi, Bhopal, Mumbai, and Delhi were auditioned to portray the Super 30 students in this film.
