Australia always seems to bring out the most extreme movies of their generation,
The seventies gave us Mad Max and The Cars That Ate Paris. Since then we have had The Loved Ones, Wolf Creek, Talk To Me and The Babadook.
Patricia Moore can be added to this long line of excellence because of the shocking plot, the cold hearted characters and the screenplay.
The washed out colour palate suits the horror of the blood drained cadavers and the acting is first rate. The uncle is chilling, the lead protagonist Marlo is great in the role of the cannibal with a crisis of conscious.
Great little horror and worth a look.
