Gus Plus Us

I don't know where these lower reviews are coming from but I'm guessing they don't have age appropriate kids. This show is just charming with very catchy music without the addictive brainrot of shows like cocomelon. It's also not some sesame street knockoff, it just reminds me of older shows like lamb chop (but waaaay better). I think it might not be enough to hold the attention of kids older than maybe 5, but I don't like the effect that older kids shows have on my younger kids. It's just 10 minutes of a gentle lesson with good songs, I feel very comfortable with my kids watching one or two while I cook dinner. It's just nice to see something new and not animated.

I wasn't sure how much I'd like this show, but it's fun to watch with my kids, and my kids actually request watching it! It's similar to the Fred Penner show, beautiful music, good lessons! It brings back the nostalgia of the kids shows from my childhood... fun, but with little life lessons. Moral lessons like learning how to take accountability for your actions (good or bad), the importance of apologizing, and loving people for who they are inside. There are also episodes with little lessons like learning how to make the most of a rainy day, problem solving, or cleaning up.

My 3 year old will sit and watch the shows on repeat, though my older kids like watching it too. They love the songs and want to listen to the soundtrack in the car! The music is great, so I'm happy to let them listen to it while we drive.

Gus Plus Us is an amazing new kids' show that our family can't get enough of!! We've been hooked from the start, but Season 2 has really taken things to the next level. Every episode is packed with fun and keeps our little ones totally entertained.

One of the best things about the show is the music! It's fresh, fun, and doesn't drive us crazy like some other kids' shows. We're always singing along to the catchy songs from both Season 1 and the new Season 2 songs. It's rare to find a kids' show where the music is so enjoyable for both kids and parents.

The band episode in Season 2 is a big hit at our house. The way they create music is so cool, and it even got us to have our own little family jam session. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making each episode both fun and interesting.

Gus Plus Us has become a favorite in our home, and we can't recommend it enough to other families looking for a great kids' show. It's a total win for both kids and parents, and we're excited to see what adventures come next!

Most shows today try and copy others. This show is a fresh new original inspired by old and new. Our family loves the music and the characters that bring so much light. We find ourselves quoting and singing along after watching each episode. It gets stuck in your head! We hope they continue more seasons as our family is looks forward to each new episode. Karrot is our favorite, she is clever and speaks gibberish. The kids can't get enough of her. Lucy is played by a homeschool mom who creates the show with her husband and kids. The quality of this show is out of this world! I recommend it to every family.

I turned this on to entertain my infant while I did the dishes and found my four and six year old watching it right along with her. It is now requested regularly by my older kids. Cute little shows with fun storylines and good songs. Everyone loves Gus and Carrot. Lucy is also great and her voice is really nice. I have caught myself singing along to the opening song more often than I care to admit. I'm not exactly sure where the low stars come from. I really like that it is wholesome. I don't need to worry about some random adult concept being unnecessarily introduced. I can get some stuff done without worry and, as any busy mom would know, that is priceless!
