Don't expect anything too deep here. Full of lovely French beach life, and formulaic plot twists. Best thing I can say, is it wasn't a complete waste of time, since we got to practice our French comprehension.

Wish the pelican had more scenes, so funny. Humans are cliché.

Message of the movie is drown by weak dialogues and mediocre storylines.

I'm surprised to see such dreadful reviews for this movie- I actually quite enjoyed it. Yes it lacks any real depth or intricacy but it is wholly enjoyable, pleasantly titillating and the relationships that develop are actually quite interesting. If this was American it would probably be unwatchable but the French are often able to elevate a movie by charm alone.

Don't expect anything too deep when watching this movie. It literally feels like cracking open a beer and letting oneself unwind/unravel.

There's no captivating plot, but as an older woman (I'm going on 45), it was fun to see gorgeous French women in the same age group as I am having non-commital relationships and enjoying themselves. They do touch (very briefly) on how society looks at relationships strangely - ok for older men to be with younger females, but not accepting of older women with younger males.

It was cute and funny. Don't expect everlasting love. That was never the point of the plot or movie. Go in with a carefree, open-minded mentality and you'll enjoy the movie better that way.

This charming, erotic and hyper-realistic film about holiday romances would make the perfect antidote for anyone who's accidentally watched. Nancy Meyers' "The Holiday", which is most of us as it's on UK TV every night. Three gorgeous, older French women shack up with three French boys without any "meet cutes" or significant complications with exes. The intimacy coordinator - if they have them in France - must have been kept busy. Some safeguarding issues are handled with wit and aplomb, and there's no date rape, just a joke about it in the worst possible taste. And there's a pelican! Well worth watching although the English subtitles don't do the sassy French dialogue justice.
