Being able to achieve a modicum of suspension of disbelief is crucial when watching horror and movies with supernatural elements. Here though, the characters are just unbelievable, they do not behave like any normal human exposed to the demonic/angelic would. And a blind medium/tarot card reader? Using a white "seeing cane" in her own living room? good grief that was just cringe. Even the cop on crime scenes is silly. The main character walks around with the actual evidence instead of photos of evidence? Yeah, that would happen. The characters are 1 dimensional, and it is next to impossible to feel for them, even the fiance of the hero, you just don't care when she is in danger, it's really that bad as far as characters go. The dialogue is bad and cheesy. It's a shame really, it could have been good with a better director and editor.

Woeful acting , story , camerawork.

Only saving grace are the makeup effects and a fair amount of eye candy.

Quite unprofessional movie. Not much horror type as displayed with the title. I quit after watching the first half. Need to include music to hold the attention of the viewer. There is a need of the improvement in the dialogues or facial acting by the actors. They should have improve its story a little better to hold the audience.

Stelly's story is a well crafted "fate of the world" concept, rich with nior overtures and supernatural whimsy. Part cop drama, part graphic novel, all framed in an antihero origin story. It isn't a bad movie, the movie buildstarts up a nice story arch. The problem I had with the film is the lack of substance and depth. Scenes were chewed apart with pointless, predictable banter instead of material that would fully realize the charactet's situations.

The acting was mixed, some scenes were on point, even though the characters felt more two-dimensional. At times dialog was delivered over-the-top, or came off cheesy. The consistency was slightly off. I did like the overall concept that Stelly was shooting for with "The Demonologist" , I just think it would have came out stronger as an 8 to 10 short episode webseries.

The special effects are the typical supernatural CGI stuff. The practical work was real nice. Overall it reminded me of some of the stuff they did on 'Charmed' and 'The Librarians'. This isn't going to be a movie that most demon cult, supernatural horror fans are gonna get into, but it has its audience. Check it out but go in lightly and have fun.

This cheap flick is nothing but a waste of time.

The actual story is interesting and could have been turned into a good film or series if the people involved were pros.

But as it is, we end up with boring scenes of useless dialogues, bad directing and lots of abysmal acting. They even included some nude scenes, a futile attempt to 'save' that flick.

This looked kind of good but whoa what a disappointment. I'll be surprised if you get through the fist half hour watching such bad acting before you have to quit. Just plain awful.

The only good thing in this movie is a bit of nudity from Manon Pages, and that's it. I can't recall the last time I've seen such an unprofessional movie like this one. Don't know which is worse - acting, dialogue or editing of this movie. Oh, and get this, throughout the entire movie, there is no music...you'll hear some noises and that's it. Trust me and stay the hell clear from this turd.

I must admit that I walked into this movie with limited expectations. But I admit that I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT!! Extremely well done!! I would completely recommend it. It's definitely a film worth watching! I can't wait to buy the DVD when it comes out. Seriously, go watch this film. A very different and unique take on the topic. The acting was great and the photography/sound were wayyyy better than I expected!! It's definitely worth your money and your time!!

I came into this film thinking it was going to be a slash 'em up horror, gore porn film with a tough guy protagonist fighting demons, but ended up getting a lot more. The Demonologist is actually a smart and suspenseful murder mystery of sorts with supernatural demon elements. The characters were well written and the actors did their job perfectly with the material. The twists and turns were certainly enough to keep my interest throughout and found it an enjoyable film to watch. A small caveat; the movie was obviously made on a tight budget and some of the production value and VFX betray this, but it didn't ruin the experience for me.

Tried to watch this, it seemed like an OK low-budget horror. But, if you set your volume to suit the screams in the horror parts, the actors are completely unintelligible. The version I watched also had no subtitles. I love to watch low-budget titles but there are some details that have to be paid attention to.

This movie is a lesson in insanity, horror and the dark unknown. The bone thrilling horror is mesmerising and the thrill are blood curdling.. This is an amazing movie. More power to such independent directors.

WATCH IT.. you will be surprised.
