Mayaanadhi

Mathan (Tovino) is on the run after accidently killing policeman. He is in love with Aparna (Aishwarya), a struggling actress who does not trust him due to an incident in the past.

Mathan keeps meeting her in order to woo her and at the same time the police are closing on in him.

The story is well presented and you feel for the love of mathan and Aparna. The cinematography is excellent.

Tovino and Aishwarya are amazing and they have excellent chemistry which eleviates the movie.

The supporting cast perform well but the person who stands out with a 1 minute screen time is Soubin Shahir. Just loved his cameo specially since it was sudden and unexpected and performed well.

The climax is heart breaking but you will enjoy it.

Acting wise,script wise,direction wise,camerawise one of the best love movies of this generation malayalam cinema

After watching its clueless trailer, I thought it to be another misfire from aashiq Abu after gangster and rani padmini but I was wrong. Before mayanadhi, the last time I saw a realistic love story in malayalam was Annayum Rasoolum. Mayanadhi narrates the complicated and poignant love story of a runaway criminal Maathan and struggling actress aparna. Tovino, aishwarya and rest of the cast performed their roles well but the real show stealer is soubin who proves that for an actor only one scene and no dialogues are enough to strike an impact among audience. Climax leaves a lump on your throat. You feel like a fresh air coming slowly on your face while watching mayanadhi. Maayanadhi is Aashiq Abu's best work till date.

A beautifull love story that shown in a different way. Good story line and the screenplay. Songs and bgm is enhanced the movie. Tovino's performance was vera level. Ended with positive.

Mayanadhi is much more than a viewing experience alone, it makes you feel the love. Mathan and Appu will leave a mark in your heart.

Excellent script, amazing music and ashique Abu's making of this is beyond comparison in Malayalam cinema.

Totally out of the league from formula movies. If you are a movie buff , it would also make you wonder, how could they get all the elements beautifully knit it together.

If it was released in 2021 in the OTT age, it would have have got national and international level attention , like other good movies this year.
