Shûmatsu nani shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte moratte ii desu ka?

Other than having the most unnecessarily long title I've ever seen, this anime wasn't bad. For the most part I was interested in what the characters were doing, I thought the world was intriguing, and the premise was fun. I do think it is a bit generic and forgettable, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good watch. I just think there are better anime out there with similar premises. Probably the highlight for me was the art direction, as the backgrounds and locations were excellently done and really beautiful to look at. Overall not a bad show, but I would recommend other anime over this one, such as Sword Art Online or Chivalry of a Failed Knight.

To be honest this is the third time I've watched this anime and its about time I wrote a review. Many people might agree with me on this, but this anime deserves another season. So please give it a a prequel-season on where it tells the story of Willem Kmetsch when he was a brave up until the point where he meets Nygglatho and Grick or a season for what happens after episode 12.

The animation graphics, dubbed voice acting, and story are excellent. The best part of this anime is the definitely the story. Its both beautiful and sad, and you should watch it till the end.

Only thing I hate is there is no second season. Without it, this story cannot end!

First many said this story is amazing and depressing and it's true. The story is beautiful, emotional and well done! Yet fans are waiting for the happy ending.
