To attempt a political satire first of all is like taking a big risk in Kannada cinema! To top that to choose it as your debut film takes a lot of guts, conviction and faith in your ability - for these reasons alone hats off to Actor Danish Sait and Director Saad Khan. This movie is entertainment from start to finish and with a strong message!
Saad as a director has shown great promise in the way he has handled the actors - Danish can sometimes come across as caricaturish, to ensure his acting just doesn't feel like a series of gags but as an overall performance, credit to the director for pulling it off.
The story keeps you engaged and there are a plenty of laugh out loud moments to keep you entertained! The writing is good, screenplay is tight and the film breathes a bit making it a tad bit longer for a few people - but in my opinion, this was needed to ensure that audience gets the feel of the other characters in the movie as well.
The film also excels in other departments such as Music, Production design and really brings you into the world of Nograj and his shenanigans! Highly recommended watch!

After my needle-in-a-haystack hunt over the past 3 months or so, I finally got hold of Humble Politician Nograj (Kannada), even lost some sleep over finding subtitles that matched the runtime.
I really liked the trailer and went into the movie expecting a ton of humor, and there was a lot of humor, just not a ton of it...I guess? Or maybe there was, but it was very repetitive...?...dunno. It appears that several Kannada folks thought that it wasn't worth the hype. I don't know how hyped this movie was, so I guess it wasn't a let down for me. But not sure if it was worth losing some sleep over.
This film totally reminded me of Borat in some ways. This guy, Danish Sait, and the folks who played Monjunath and Lavanya did a really good job. One could argue that you can watch the movie just for this trio, plus there's humor in it, never mind the story. I read some reviews, looks like some people didn't like how the movie ended, and I am not sure if i'd agree with that. Throughout the movie, you can tell that it shows how dirty politics is/can be, just that it does so with humor instead of intense music, action, backstabbing, etc. Lets say that this movie kinda sorta is trying to say what Pudhupettai said, but in a TOTALLY different way?
If they were to make a sequel of this movie, I'd watch it. If you're looking for a fun (repetitive or not) time-pass movie, check it out.

Although I love the plot/story very much, I did expect a lot of entertainment from the movie. There was a fair bit of entertainment but the Borat-esque style/dialogues by Danish Sait got really repetitive. Some people didn't like the way the movie ended but for me personally it was the perfect ending because that's how the real world is right now. Nice guys only win in movies but in real life and more so in India, it's mostly the bad guy that take the cake.
The movie has a very deep meaning and tries to convey the message that at the end of the day politics is a system which can be rigged and there are no real tangible moral filters to pick the right person and the citizen should be held responsible for voting for the wrong guy as much as the politicians themselves.
Overall I thought the movie would be more entertaining than have a message but it turned out to be the other way round. A good one time watch nevertheless.

Great movie.. Well portrayed characters! Loved Danish and Sumukhi in the movie.. Overall a fun watch.. Do watch it if you haven't watched it yet! 😃
Eagerly waiting for the web series and see more of Nograj sir. Lead characters clearly represent reality and conflict between corrupted politicians and people who want to bring and be the change in the society. The dialogue diction of Nograj stays with you for quite a long time.
