It's not funny but the writing is decent as far as the story.
The worst part of this show is the blatant rip-offs the main character designs are - a Larson 'Far Side' red-headed lead, supported by a young version of Jon Arbuckle from Garfield and Arlene the cat done as a human. There could be some other aspects to the female character's design too that I am forgetting or misplacing. It just looks entirely generic and a mish-mash of other people's character designs.
Compared with the uniqueness of a show like Pig Goat Banana Cricket (which I adore entirely, the humour, sound, Cooper's visual design and the writing), this show falls entirely flat.

Billy Dilly Super- Duper Subterranean Summer isn't a bad show in all means. I picked to watch it because I remember when it came out back in 2017 and wanted to review the show and rate each episode. There are a lot of great things this show does. But for a Disney Channel show it does have a lot of problems with it.
For starters, a majority of Disney Channel shows have stories that slowly resolve the more episode that come out. Think Gravity Falls and DuckTales. They'll usually have a plot that slowly gets more and more closer to the main characters goals. Billy Dilly doesn't have this. There are one or two episodes where the plot does progress but a majority of the time it doesn't. If you look back at my reviews on each episode you can see this. Another problem that people do have but has been was over exaggerated is Billy being an annoying character that makes stuff worse. Don't get me wrong, mid way through the series there's three episodes that do have him like that. But besides those three episodes he's mainly just a kid interested in the new environment he's in. And if he is mad usually he has a really good point to being mad. Now I want to talk about the good things in this series. First off I do like a lot of the characters. Zeke was a funny character and Billy's pet Rat was another I would always laugh at when he would appear. A lot of the side characters were also funny as well like the Count who main goal is to sludge anything he saw. Another thing I liked about the show was any new side character they'll show would usually come back for other episodes. Example is Zartran how would come back multiple times.
If you're going to watch this series I would say after watching each episode rate them but spilt it into two parts for both parts of the episode like I did. The reason why is because a lot of episodes will have a really good part then a really bad part. Also don't believe this series will have plot progression like I thought it did. It's only in a few episodes a lot of the time in one part of that episode and a lot of the time it doesn't come back up.
In conclusion, this series does have a lot of good episodes and a lot of bad episodes. But it doesn't deserve to roughly have the same rating as Planet Sheen. I feel like 6/10 is the perfect rating for this show for it being semi good but still mid.

Watched this show with my friends and was delightfully surprised by genuine laughs and enjoyment of the show. The show doesn't really try to pander to a more mature audience (besides with Anaximander gags) but is still enjoyable to someone like me who is most definitely not the target audience. The main character, Billy Dilley, was really good and engaging as a silly main character, which is an easy aspect to fail when you try and make a main character with the purposes of the audience projecting themselves into the situation to contrast the wacky situation. Not sure if I would have watched it fully on my own rather than in the company of my friends but the show still left me with a high opinion of it's content.
The show is about 3 friends who get trapped in the center of the earth. It's Uncle Grandpa meets Land of the Lost. There are so many problems with this show I don't know where to begin. 1) Billy is way too annoying he is always hyper he has the same problem as Deadpool he is always on. Even Peter Griffin as nutty as he is has his calm moments 2) his voice is absolutely terrible. He sounds like Eric Cartman sucking on a helium balloon. 3) They aren't in much of a rush to get home don't they miss their families, maybe they should be trapped in the center of the earth too. Or maybe at the End of every episode they can call writte letters to their parents my little Pony style and there is a portal inside a magic mail box that sends it to them and tell them about their Adventures. It comes off as callous and short sighted. 4) It's not funny in the slightest. It's from the Adventure Time/ Adult Swim school of try to hard to be weird and we'll give you a show it doesn't even have to be funny. This show would be greatly improved if they simply had better jokes. Weird doesn't automatically= funny they should come up with funny gags that just happen to be weird. No wonder it was cancelled quickly.
Its very entertaining, it has a plot and at Aaron made his own show! I don't want this show to cancel those people on you tube are just jealous because they don't have the skills like Aaron does. There's only one thing I want to change its Billy, Billy is SO annoying he gets on my freaking nerves. Also, I love Zeke and Marsha they are funny and very good characters! I don't want this show to end...so please give it some love!!!
