Taco Shop

So bad, it's good. This lowbrow comedy, is a homage to Long Beach culture and over the top, exaggerated racial stereotypes. If you're not laughing at the non-stop situations and one liners, you need your funny bone checked. This day in the life of a Taco shop with quirky personalities and endless potty humor is worth a watch with family, friends, and definitely your teen kids. Think latin version of "Good Burger" meets "Macho Libre". The punchlines tend to miss the mark at times, and other times nailed. The imperfections and twisted plot line will make this laugh flick a soon to be cult classic.

I love movies that seem like normal days. No huge catastrophe lurking around. Just a work crew going through another day. I found it hilarious, watching it, is seems like a group of friends just being natural with random things happening. And Sox.....Damn I really hope they just let him do his thing and improvise, he is awesome. The back and forth had me rolling. The movie has just enough random to keep it interesting.

You look at other movies out right now and it just seems like they are putting way to much into telling a story and that is what I really like about this movie, super chill, funny, and just a turn your mind off and enjoy kind of movie.

This movie will eventually get a lot of love. The closing track "New Day" by Kurupt feat. T. Nassar & Jenn Em is perfect for this movie.

I'll be honest... I haven't even made it through the whole movie yet. Sox is hilarious!!!

Full of gender, ethnic and cultural stereo typically bias. Storyline is average, not very funny for a movie trying to be a comedy.

As one review says, this movie is full of racial and some gender bias, but that is absolutely the beauty of this low budget film. If you like movies like Nacho Libre or Napoleon Dynamite, you're gonna like this movie. For anyone concerned about sexual content, but it's nothing crazy. Absolutely a perfect example of a good, funny, edgy, low budget film.
