Thugs of Hindostan

The movie was highly entertaining to me despite all the bad reviews I had read before watching it.

Sure enough it is not Vishal Bardwaj's Maqbool or Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black and I didn't watch it with that expectation. It is an entertaining family movie with a nice plot and a lot of action. Aamir was on point as always and I loved his character. Mr. Bachchan is a legend and he's in that stage of his career by my opinion , in which it is enough for him just to be in the movie. Fatima was a delight to watch. Someone I really liked is the girl playing young Zafira (Deshna Dugad). She's done pretty well for the small role she had and for her young age.

So , in conclusion, if you are in a mood for an entertaining action , the movie will leave you with a good feeling. Give it a try.

Aamir Khan's acting is all that's worth watching this film. This film could have been ended just in 1 and half hour, but the directors extended the film I think just for audience. CGI was a bit low over all, Amitabh was not suitable for the role he played. Katrina Should learn how to deliver dialogue. Fatima can become a good acting sensation just not yet. Her role in Dangal and then watching her like this is not helping just yet.

I really like the character of Frangi. Even though he is a trickster, as Azaad say, Frangi is actually on a quest so independence and freedom consist of breathing for him. Is that really so? Katrinan's role as a dancer was a good decision because even if she can dance very nicely but her acting performance is not enough yet. After performance of Fatima in DANGAL, I watched her for the second time with this film and I liked her again(also very similar to katrina). And Amitabh Bachchan, living legend of India has performed well in this film with Aamir. In short, I think the film was beautiful.

The movie has attracted extreme reviews because of emotions and expectations. The movie delivers mildly on action, drama and suspense with plot twists you won't see coming. If you compare this movie with pirates of Caribbean series, you will be dissappointed. Enjoy it like any other average Bollywood movie.

Just got through watching it, been waiting avidly for a copy of it, and well worth the wait I thought. Yes it is a bit POTC-ish, but it was still swashbuckling fun in its own way. They seemed to end it as though they may make a sequel, I hope they do, because I really enjoyed this.
