Bear with Me

Editing in this short film is brilliant. I've worked with Kieron Bertani before and he's a real pleasure to work with, i'm happy he ended up creating/being a part of creating such a great, thrilling product. A* from me. No wonder it was accepted into several film- festivals worldwide.

Personally, i felt that the story could have been better, although by the end of the film i felt emotionally attached to all of the characters, including the Bear (Harry). Honestly i've never seen such brilliant 3d modelling in a student film. Kieron Bertani has clearly got a professional eye for this sector. Big things to come for this guy...

The film started off a little confusing, with the actions of the 2 office staff members. However, once the film gathered pace, I began to understand the story more, with the relationship with the bear and the office worker. The film had a very interesting concept, which was explored well, including the scene where the worker was promoted.

I felt that the film was edited well, scenes followed smoothly from one to the next. On the whole, I think the right casting decisions were made, as the acting was believable, most of the time. Great effort must have gone into creating the CGI bear, as the level of detail was high.

All in all, a enjoyable film, which deserves the recognition it has so far received.
