Nightcap

It's not quite as silly as 30 rock but the laughs come just as fast. The regular cast, especially the lead, Ali Wentworth, absolutely kill. Wentworth actually looks like giant blonde Tina Fey. She is such a gifted comedic actress, too. The show has some A List celebs each episode. Gwyneth Paltrow gets to really shine in the second episode and what a potty mouth she has on her! There's a lot to look forward to and I hope this picks up a broad audience. I want as many episodes as possible (10 seems to be the magic number for most series these days vs some past shows like 30 Rock which gave us over 20 episodes most seasons.) The low ratings are apparently by people not intelligent enough to understand the humor.

If there is a show which is making you feel uncomfortable and awkward this is it. I am wondering how someone convinced another person to invest money in this, I would love to have their marketing strategy.

I love this show! This class act is a dream come true for 30 Rock fans who hated to see the series end. Nightcap copies the 30 Rock formula for funny with transparency from the comedic pace to the background music and superb casting choice for the main character. The only way it could be better is if 30 Rock had returned in its place. Great entertainment!

I love this show! I agree it is very similar to 3rd rock but Ali Wentworth is awesome! She's always been a fav comedian of mine. And the girl who plays penny steals every episode. Her facial expressions are priceless. Haha. Sad, the show didn't continue. VERY FUNNY!

This show is amazing and on Hulu if you don't want to deal with Pop. It has not been cancelled or renewed as of 12/31/2019
