GVM! What have you done! (NO SPOILERS) ENPT is by far the worst GVM film. I have a few questions: (i) Was the voiceover completely necessary? There's a scene midway where Raghu (Dhanush) meets Lekha (Megha Akash) four years after their little rendezvous. Raghu in his monotonous voiceover says "Hi, how are you, Lekha? It's been a while." Why couldn't he have just opened his mouth and asked this? Why is the voiceover unnecessarily providing plot dumps. (ii) Sasikumar? Really? GVM movie characters are known to spit out English phrases and sentences. You wanted to find an actor to play an important but tiny role in the second-half and you went with Sasikumar? Really? (iii) What was Megha Akash told? Was she told that this was a movie or an ad film shoot? She is more wooden than the Redwood Forest. (iv) How did Sunaina agree to this? I get that she hasn't had any good roles recently but was she aware of what the role entailed? (v) What were you thinking, GVM? You've spent an incredible amount of money to make this piece of crap.

First half was good but the second half was not up to mark dhanush performed well the twist in the movie was somewhat predictable the story telling way the actors narration Evey time for every scene was little bit annoying sometimes

The first half was completely a romantic one with good songs but without any story and coming to the second half, it builds a story but nothing works in a better way.The climax suspense is the only positive in this movie.Those who watched Acham yenpathu madanmaiyyada as an average movie dont go because this movie is under as per the quality of narration nor screenplay.

This movie works for some target types of audience who likes GVM storytelling and Dhanush fans

Recently watched this movie on Amazon Prime. Danush's acting was on point, in fact this is right up there with Polladhavan. It is a delight to watch Danush grow so much, which is precisely why the voice over was a tad too much. If the characters were left to interact with each other a little bit more the gaps which BR indicates in his review ( brother relationship and even romance in 2nd half) it would have been fixed and turned this into a great movie. GVM has relied way too much on voice overs, there were few dialogs which was refreshing on the voice over. Next time, if the story narration style is voice over , then I would urge GVM to strike a balance. I feel like GVM missed a golden opportunity. Danush has given his all, with all the production issues I thought Danush would half-as it, but NO! a tremendous performance.

To be honest the movie has GVM standard script all over it, but i find that too much songs in the first half of the movie taking the momentum away. Second half is much better but then you can see that due to the movies shooting dates issue the movie was ended in a rush. This is average at best. Acting from Megha Akash doesnt seem good and also Sasikumar's presence is wasted with very little time on it. A one time watch .
