After having his life put under the spotlight on paper and on screen, Yakumo will once again face the music — literally, this time — in a stage musical adaptation of Haruko Kumota's Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju historical drama manga that was announced today. Longtime Takarazuka Revue director Shuichiro Koike helms the production as director and scriptwriter. Performances will be held at Tokyo's Tokyu Theatre Orb in February-March 2025, Osaka's Festival Hall in March-April 2025 and Fukuoka at an undisclosed date.
