This show is absolutely brutal to watch out of all of these so called History reality type show. They have very little original content yet stretch it out by continuously repeating themselves at a nauseating rate. they recap their recaps and then recap before commercial breaks and then recap after the break. they also have the same animations they reference multiple times per episodes. The only way to watch this is to have your finger on the fast forward button and be ready to push at all time. its a Tedious waste of time.
The first thing that I have to wonder is how much money has been wasted on this money pit of a fantasy. But these are the kind of "reality" shows, with network money driving them (much like the show about people striking it rich with gold in Alaska), that people turn it off for. And by off I mean their common sense. Study the "legend" and the results of this so-called reality show. They all point to one thing. Even though they know there's nothing there, they know they can make a lot of money off of someone's ability to believe anything.
Pretty much thats it. They shot 60 episodes and found 7 nails and some dirt different than other dirt. And they talk super exited about them. The most boring show on the planet.
I have been watching this show since the beginning. I am now so bored with the last show because I know all it is is a money maker for the TV channel 54. I will wish all the best but,,, you have dragged us along for the last time. Noooo more. Will I watch!!!!.
People want you to be successful in this enormous endeavor that you have undertaken - that is why I will watch from the news papers when you succeed.
How could you continue to air this when so little has happened? I have a feeling that everyone feels this way.
I know that this is a slow discovery, but honestly it is hard to keep watching week after week with no prevail.
It would be great if it could be shortened into one short season so I didn't have to waste an hour of my week watching nothing happen.

I just have to put in my two cents on what I'm thinking has actually taken place at oak island over the last 800 plus years. We all know the knights Templar were considered keepers of the pilgrims wealth or called the first bank. When Jacques De Molay grand master at the time in 1314 was killed ordered by the king of France. This is where the trail gets cold.Jacques De Molay was fully aware the king of France was after their great holdings of wealth.I believe the Templars over time must have sailed to the new Americas constructed a vault type of safe storage.History tells us the Vikings discovered North America 1500 years before Christopher Columbus. These voyages are obviously not documented.I think you guys will be rewriting some history as you go forward.Great job!
