The Emmerson family heads to the quaint town of Turkey Hollow to visit Aunt Cly. Tim and Annie quickly grow bored without the Internet, and soon try to track the howling hoodoo, an elusive monster the locals dismiss as a legend.

A recently divorced man named Ron Emmerson takes his children Tim and Annie to the farm of Ron's eccentric Aunt Cly in the town of Turkey Hollow which has no technology. Tim and Annie find themselves caught up in searching for the "Howling Hoodoo," an elusive monster that has been considered a legend to the citizens of Turkey Hollow while also coming across the plot of a scheming neighbor that frames Aunt Cly for the theft of the turkeys.

Recently divorced man brings his 2 kids to his aunt's rural home for Thanksgiving. He hasn't seen her in years and intends her to baby sit while he works. But the town`s local monster legend interests the son and the story takes off: loss of the farm, an evil neighbor with 2 bumbling henchmen, a love interest for the aunt with the sheriff, and a dad bonding with his kids round out the plot.
