BEWARE OF FALSE REVIEWS & REVIEWERS. SOME REVIEWERS HAVE ONLY ONE REVIEW TO THEIR NAME. NOW WHEN ITS A POSITIVE REVIEW THAT TELLS ME THEY WERE INVOLVED WITH THE MOVIE. IF ITS A NEGATIVE REVIEW THEN THEY MIGHT HAVE A GRUDGE AGAINST THE FILM . I HAVE REVIEWED OVER 200 HOLIDAY FILMS. I HAVE NO AGENDA.
I was looking forward to this film. Andrew W. Walke was in "A Bride For Christmas". That was a "Wonderful" film and I was happy to see him again in a Christmas theme film. (Maybe He will do another)
In this film (A minor updating of It Happened One Night) a woman can't board her plane. She ends up in the last rental car the airport has but it is being rented by Dash who agrees to let her ride with him as long as she pays for the gas. The film has a nice quick pace and its never boring but it could of been better. My problems is the subplots.
There is a few subplots that get resolved "off camera" which is the downfall of the viewing experience. This is the rare case that a LONGER FILM would of been better.
This film is enjoyable but it had so much more potential.

Somehow you took the worst parts from the book and made them even worse for the movie. Congrats!
I didn't have high hopes going into the movie but I figured it would at least be on par with the book but they somehow managed to make it 100x worse.

How anyone can call this a "typical" Hallmark movie baffles me. This is a comedy/romance with a light thriller element that I've never seen in a Hallmark Christmas movie. The writing occasionally sparkles, with Meghan Ory delivering a charming performance. The emphasis is more on comedy than many Hallmark Christmas movies, and the spy intrigue just spices it up nicely. This isn't a great movie, just a delightful surprise and a truly enjoyable 2 hours.
7/10 - funny Debbie Macomber holiday movie with two good leads
This was way off the beaten path for Hallmark.
Definitely the funniest HMC movie I've seen. Ash (Megan Ory) and Dash (Andrew Walker) really had that spark, with more than a few un-Hallmarkesque escapades on the way.
Finally, a male lead who can pull off snark! And a female lead who does a sweet and convincing goofball, with no desperation for a man.
Imo, the whole FBI angle was deliberately campy, and a tip o' the cap to screwball comedies of the past.
There were some small moments (again, not the HMC way) that really tickled me. Like Dash's romantic two words at the bar and the Blade dog ownership test. Even my SO laughed!

- CuriosidadesThe characters of Dash and his sister Lily are named after writers Dashiell Hammett and Lillian Hellman.
- Erros de gravaçãoThey're supposedly driving up the I-5 corridor by all the towns shown on the map, but between Medford & Eugene they're suddenly driving along the coast.
