A Race of Giants: Our Forbidden History

A very boring documentary. The narrator just lists off reports of giant skeletons without any credible evidence to back them up, the only interesting parts were the apparent 500 million year old hammer and the 200 million year old human footprint (not solid proof to me in the slightest but it was mildly interesting) but apart from that it was all nonsense. And it didn't help that the narrator had a very droning and dull voice. Other programs like Ancient Aliens (all nonsense of course, but quite fun) are far more entertaining.

This conspiracy theorist fever dream is, quite possibly, the worst "documentary" I have ever seen..

A Race of Giants postulates that a race of so-called giants cohabitated the planet alongside normal human beings for thousands of years. The fact that no legitimate skeletal remains can be found to support this argument does not dissuade the documentary's producers. Instead of empirical evidence, the film argues that modern day "skeptics" have conspired to remove these remains from modernday record because their existence would disprove evolution. *sigh*

No scientific sources. No interviews. Pure conjecture. Dangerous anti-science conspiracy theory rhetoric. Do yourself a favor and skip A Race of Giants. You'll never get that hour back.

There were no real facts in this documentary. It was almost entirely partial highlights of 2nd and third hand accounts. Even those weren't presented in any complete form.

This documentary made me long for the days of Leonard Nimoy's narration of "In Search of" it had all of that level of authenticity without any of the warnings that generally preceded the "ISO" episodes.

Available free without ads on You-tube. No wonder, even at zero cost you're the loser if you waste your time with this.

I very much agree with other commentary.

The music was exceptionally distracting. The thinly veiled conspiracy accusations were laughable.

The endless list after list after list of "we found a giant here" and "we found a giant there" and "they found a print or skull that was this big" was not only boring it was incredibly annoying!

But the thing that really upset me is that the narrator could not be bothered to learn how to properly pronounce the words he was reading!

For example he mispronounces: Gigantism as giantism Nephalim as Nafalum

There are many others, but I'm not going to just make a list here. This could have been an incredible documentary if they had simply taken the time to group the skeletons by size and type, to make comparisons, both visual and verbal between current day, man and these creatures, and use modern digital recreations to enhance what they were talking about!

I agree this is the worst documentary ever!
