The Loud House

Great, but not perfect...

The Loud House is the equivalent of Spongebob in terms of quality and viewing. The first two seasons of the show are amazing with likable characters, great comedy, and good morals. The third season was decent , but no where as good as the previous seasons. Then after the third season, this is where I stop watching. The newer seasons aren't that good. The stories are redundant, the characters are different, and the comedy is not that good. It feels like the quality and comedy took a downgrade at the fourth season.

That being said, the show is still good. However, the show overstayed its welcome like Spongebob. Even though the newer Spongebob is a bit more watchable, I'm not sure if the Loud House will improve again; but, it may happen. Either way, I recommend the first two seasons, and maybe the third season but only like several episodes. The show is good for its run, but I prefer the old seasons.

Really entertaining and enjoyable

After giving us terrible shows after the other, this was a show they really needed! I have my own thought that any character can be good. Where I am going when I said that is that just because a character is stereotypical doesn't mean that they are a bad character. To me it determines on how said stereotyped is used and this show uses them well. I like how this show satires a whole lot of different people from the dumb blond to the comedic girl to the emo girl and etc. Every character has their own trait that portrays them but this show knows how to go deep into that trait. Almost every character is easily likable and I find the show as a whole really easy to enjoy. A great piece of work from Nickelodeon.

Nickelodeon is getting its' groove bock!

Finally, after eight years of crappy sitcoms and brain dead cartoons, Nick is finally regaining its' old spirit. not since Avatar has there ever been a show that can truly relate to families everywhere.

the synopsis of the show is about an 11-year-old boy named Lincoln Loud who is part of a family of 10 sisters, each one having diverse, unique personalities that bring out the different sides of Lincoln. There's the first born Lori who constantly texts to her boyfriend, Bobby, and because of being the oldest, believes that she can get whatever she wants amongst her siblings, but despite her condescending attitude, she does care for her brother and sisters. There is the second born Leni who is the stereotypical dumb blonde and, unlike most of the family members, is the nicest person you'll ever meet, but can be taken advantage at times due to her naivety. There's the third born Luna who likes to listen, and play, loud music, along with being skilled in guitar and expressing the punk rock lifestyle. Luan Loud, the fourth born, is an amateur comedian who enjoys playing pranks on her family members and telling terrible jokes, which she is oblivious of the constant groans of her annoyed siblings. Lynn Loud is the fifth oldest sister who is energetic and enjoys playing extreme sports while playing and/or fighting with her brother, Lincoln, much to his chagrin. 8-year-old Lucy Loud is the oddball of the family and a preteen emo/goth girl who enjoys reciting poems of the macabre and hosting seances, despite creeping most of her family members whenever she appears out of nowhere. the twins, Lola and Lana, are polar opposites--one is a spoiled, tattle telling pageant girl while the other is a mud-loving, dumpster diving tomboy--that tends to get into fights dues to their clashing personalities. Lisa is a 4-year-old child prodigy who had skipped several grades and even graduated college early with a ph.d. last but not least is Lilly the baby who enjoys running around naked throughout the house and defecating in her own diaper while exclaiming "poo poo." like any normal baby.

At times, they can get on Lincoln's nerves due to the chaos they bring and sometimes wishes for them to go away (like any kid with siblings), but, most of the time, he loves them and is thankful that he has sisters who love him and has his back.

This show has a well-built storyline, excellent character development, a decent setting with episodes made by brilliant writers, and a protagonist we can all relate to. Along with Harvey Beaks, this is the show that can help bring Nick out of the darkness and into the light and i'm enjoying it every time i watch it.

Nick your getting real great again! =-)

Everyone (90's kids!) is saying Nick stinks now!!! Sure there are some bad shows (Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners etc.) but hey! Cartoon Network and Disney Channel screwed up at one point! And Nick still as good shows that I still enjoy... (Spongebob,Fairly Oddparents!,Harvey Beaks etc.) And now there's the Loud House! The Loud House is just like...AWESOME!!! I love the Loud House! And it's no surprise who created it, Chris Savino who also worked on Hey Arnold! Dexters Lab etc. so it's no surprise he'll create a show like The Loud House, I like the animation style feels like the early 2000's style :) and it's writing is AMAZING!!! I love it and GREAT JOB Nick!! PS will you cancel Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners PLZ!!!

Boring

The best way to describes this show is boring. It's very plain and not much to it. I have seen almost 20 episodes of this show but I remember absolutely nothing. Not a bad show by any means, it kinda just exists.

Nickelodeon's HUGE Comeback

This is easily a major comeback for Nickelodeon. In terms of animated series, they weren't doing so well before this show came along, but when it did, I was blown away by it. I can consider it to be one of my favorite cartoons on Nickelodeon, and possibly one of the greatest modern cartoons of all time. I would most certainly recommend this show for those who are looking for great cartoons, because it's definitely one. Everything about it is not just unique, but incredibly creative, which is what brings this show to amazement. Honestly, I could find almost nothing wrong with this show. It is a must watch in my opinion, and Nickelodeon deserves a standing ovation for this masterpiece that returned them to greatness.

I used to love it, now I don't anymore.

Really, I would give it more chances in the future, but it declined so much, and the fandom is absolutely unbearable, I decided to just stop watching it all together. It's mainly the fandom on why I don't like this show anymore. The fandom is so entitled and unbearable, it's making me ashamed of ever being a fan of this show to begin with, and I think the creators are making the show decline on purpose.

i fell in love with this show!!!!!

After i watched a couple of episodes of the loud house, i fell in love with it right away. its funny, has great animation, and some of the viewers could relate to it if they have siblings. the loud house is about a boy name Lincoln who lives with his ten siblings and he is the middle child but get this his siblings are all girls. so that means he is the only boy in the house. in the show Lincoln narrates the audience on how to survive with ten girls in the house. I feel like this show is going to keep on entertaining us and will be on nick for a long period of time. so what are you waiting for go watch the show on nick every Monday at 5pm and if you are already watching it good for you!!!

Show that started so good, then turned the complete direction

Ah yes. The Loud House, one of Nickelodeon's shows that hinted greatness at the start, but immediately turned into a train wreck after it's second season. So, let's get the few positive out of the way. The first season is great. The first season's episodes are probably a 6.5/10 (excluding a few). The second season's episodes are probably a 5.5-6/10 for me. The older episodes had pretty solid writing and were pretty good. But it all ends after season 2. The writing is horrible, unfunny, and resorts to bathroom humor. The animation hasn't been a strong point for the series, even since it's beginning... but it is worse; and way messier. This cartoon does not deserve to be one of the top cartoons of Nickelodeon. Middlemost Post is a show that deserves to have more care. Sure, it is sorta a SpongeBob SquarePants rip-off, but it has pretty good animation, some clever jokes, and much more enjoyable to watch than this show. So in conclusion, The Loud House started off good with it's first season. But quickly dipped in quality after (or arguably during) it's second season.

My Opinion Between SpongeBob and The Loud House

I'll admit it! SpongeBob now sucks! But to me, The Loud House happens to be such a great, animated classic, since the kid reflects my personality! Now SpongeBob's not even educational for some reason. I understand it's usually funny throughout the series, but since the character has a job, it's weird that he doesn't have a driver's license, even though he's in his mid-twenties. It's also weird that he ended up failing his driving test about 40 times, but even I know nobody's able to fail THAT many tests. Another thing is that SpongeBob is always living alone with one pet, but with the Loud House, the kid lives with 10 sisters, while having 4 pets. And no, I'm not just comparing the difference between SpongeBob's quiet house and the Loud House with the characters being noisy. But to me, they're not THAT noisy. And that happens to be another problem. SpongeBob's yelling and screaming just happens to be annoying, I mean is that really necessary? Why is it that SpongeBob's always acting like a 5-year old even though he's in his mid-twenties? It doesn't make sense! Even he's not mature since he doesn't have a girlfriend! But in The Loud House, Lincoln's 11-years old and he has a girlfriend who once bullied him before. It's very similar to me, since I started my maturity when I was about 10 years old. But why does this need to happen? I don't understand why SpongeBob can't just go out into the real world and find a girlfriend himself! And, as I said before, is it really necessary since SpongeBob lives on his own with no one to talk to except his pet snail who's always meowing? Not only that, but SpongeBob has a brainless, best friend who lives next-door to his grumpy neighbor Squidward. I mean, his best friend happens to be dumb throughout the series. But Squidward never changes his personality. I mean, ever notice how that jerk is always so grumpy? Well with The Loud House, Lincoln's girlfriend Ronnie Anne ends up changing her personality after they get along with each other in "Save the Date". Even I see that's the difference between those two characters, not that they have anything in common, but the problem with Squidward is that he's usually happy whenever SpongeBob's not around, I mean seriously, why does this guy have to be so, darn aggressive throughout the series? Did the creators thought that it would be a good idea to create a character that only had a grumpy personality? I know Ronnie Anne never stayed that way during her first appearance. And speaking of dumb characters, I noticed that Lincoln has and older sister named Leni who is usually dumb at times, not that it annoys me, but with Patrick, it ends up being irritating whenever he starts acting dumb for some reason. Again, why does it need to happen every moment, and what difference does it make beyond the point that the fact that I can't avoid his stupidity? To me, it's actually funny how Leni can be dumb at times, as I said before. It doesn't feel annoying, but it's classic. I even see a reason why Leni can sometimes not pay attention to what's around her. I mean, even it's nothing compared to Patrick, who's always being dumb at random times throughout the series. Why does he do that so often, and what's the point of adding him into SpongeBob if he's one of the worst, dumbest characters ever created? Again, I mean SpongeBob is in his mid-twenties, but he still doesn't know how to drive. Even his teacher has always been frustrated by every driving test that he failed. He always thinks it's funny just by crashing into things, I mean, didn't his parents teach him how to drive as a kid? His other friends know how to drive, even Patrick, since he got his own license once. And what's the point of him crying over everything, even when he's a young adult? Not only that, but he happens to annoy everyone around him. I mean, how would you like it if you were having a quiet, fine day, and all of a sudden, I pop out of nowhere and start annoying you for a few hours? It's just so darn, retarded! Can this annoying habit of an immature character end? It's nothing compared to those other Nickelodeon shows that aired back in the days. Believe it or not, they even created a new character that was related to SpongeBob, and throughout the episode, he ends up causing chaos. Though, he even states that everything he touches ends up getting ruined. But as far as I'm concerned, this shows sucks! I mean, even I had to write this review in order for me to express my opinion between SpongeBob and The Loud House. But I did it to demonstrate the major differences on how SpongeBob is more annoying than The Loud House. But to me, The Loud House isn't annoying at all. I can't even stand the dreadfulness that SpongeBob does, but it just blows my mind how horrible it is! Again, it doesn't add up to the fact that this dumb, annoying character has been popular for almost about 19 years, since its very first episode in the late 90s or 21st century or whatever. But I mean why? Why is it so bad? If all these problems were changed, then we'd have an era of classic Nickelodeon shows. But history is history, so might as well count The Loud House as the next era of classic Nickelodeon shows, and leave that awful, annoying character behind. As it stands today, I just stated my opinion between SpongeBob and The Loud House. I will continue to watch The Loud House as long as Lincoln still has his relationship with his girlfriend, Ronnie Anne. Thank you for listening. Goodnight!.........The movies suck too!

It's grown on me over time

Credit where it's due, the animation is unique and the idea is very interesting. I did not like The Loud House when I first saw it, and even after watching more episodes I still wasn't impressed. My biggest gripe is that many episodes resort to gross-out humor, which is one of my least favorite tropes in any media. Just a quick gross gag to get a laugh out of its audience is something I see often in kids shows/movies, and I find it incredibly irritating.

BUT if you can overlook that like I eventually did, you will see some decently well-rounded characters that while at the surface may seem annoying, but have a good heart. Lincoln always means well and is trying to do the right thing, his sisters care for him even when they annoy each other. And I quite enjoy Clyde and his 2 dads. I appreciate good LGBTQ representation and the portrayal of the 2 dads as perfectly normal people makes me incredibly happy!

So far this show is greatly hit-or-miss, but I'll tell you some of my favorite episodes. Included but not limited to: Tricked! (Halloween Special from season 2 where they trick 2 bullies into going into a haunted corn maze, and it's a very satisfying episode) and......wait I'll have to get back to this when I remember the episode names....XD

The Nickelodeon Renaissance is coming!

This was a sign for Nickelodeon! The Loud House is my 2nd Most favorite show of all time! 1st was Gravity Falls. The story line is about a boy name Lincoln Loud who lives with 11 SISTERS!! Boy, it was uncalled for, but Nick managed to make them good. I mean, for crying out loud, I CAN'T REMEMBER THERE NAMES!! But my favorite character has to be Lincoln Loud! BOY, HOW SAVAGE OF HIM!!! HE CURSES AT HIS SISTER IN ONE EPISODE!!! But sadly, you couldn't here him curse. Of course because it's a kids show, not a adult swim show! I also like Lincoln's personality, his looks, (not gay) his savageness, and his butt shake too. (IM NOT GAY) in one episode: come sale away, Lincoln and his 11 sisters puts up a contest and see's who get's the most money from selling the stuff they don't need. Lincoln was for sure to win, and when he did, he would do his victory dance, what was it? His butt shake. But to be honest, it was uncalled for and unnecessary for the dance, but it was not bad. I recommend this for ages 8-15. ONLY for mature kids. But it is a great cartoon! 7 out of 10!

This show is good and you should check it out.

The show is about an 11 year old boy living with his ten sisters. The plot for this show is very compelling and it makes me think that Nick has a shot of redeeming itself. I really like the character development here and even though there is some gross out humor, there isn't much and it is mild. I personally like Harvey Beaks and with two good shows in a row, Nick is on the right track. I especially love the animation and with the panels in the title sequence takes me back. Honestly, I think Lincoln is the least interesting character in this show(aside from Clyde). He is a likable enough main character, but it is more interesting in my case to learn more about his siblings. Finally, the best part of this show is the fact that you can relate to it and I relate well because I grew up in a large family. I think you should check this show out and maybe, just maybe Nick can dig itself out of the hole they have crawled into.

Boring and unfunny

This show is boring and unfunny. You can't call it 'comedy' if all the 'humour' is toilet humour. All the episodes are predictable. And some of the characters are just so annoying. I don't see how this show was so popular.

I love this show

The Loud House is easily one of the best NickToons currently airing. I love the characters, the unique art style, and the relatable situations each character goes through. Not every plot is necessarily original, but I'm always enticed about what will happen next. Don't let the fact that the creator was a pervert ruin the show for you. John Lasseter was accused of sexual harassment and his Toy Story films are still great. I just hope this franchise doesn't decline like The Fairly OddParents' did.
