Famous in Love

I do love these types of shows so was looking forward to watching it. The story line is decent but the acting (or should I say OVER acting) is pretty bad. Bella Thorne who plays Paige was the only semi decent actor which saved a lot of scenes and stopped me from giving this less than 5/10. Niki Koss who plays Alexis is shockingly bad in this series. I wouldn't be surprised if she is not in Season 2. The editing room have not done this show any justice also as there was several moments where I was left scratching my head as I had no idea what was going on...it was like some poignant scenes had been cut leaving the story line empty and confusing. I did watch all 10 episodes as I was curious to see if it got any better, but it didn't. If you are bored with nothing to watch then give it a go but don't expect too much from this one.

I can't say I'm a big Bella Thorn fan because I've only seen her in a bikini in Mexico on Daily Mail, so I can't take her very seriously but boy did I like this show. It moved through the story nicely, I liked the characters and especially Bella's character. She gets a second chance with me. I like the characters and the back stabbing is wonderful. I'm sure it happens in Hollywood on a consistent basis. Give it a chance I think you'll like it. I have to come back to this because I hadn't seen the last 2 episodes. Unless this gets a second season, the 1st season isn't worth watching, the whole show is a cliffhanger hoping for season 2.

OK so I'm not a total fan of Bella Thorne but I've seen her Disney channel's shake it up and it think she's an OK actress so i gave this show a try, and wham i fell in love. Every episode leads you on, revealing the most outrageous secrets about each character leading on to more intense drama. So it's basically about a girl named Paige (Bella Thorne) who starts in the beginning having a normal life roommates with her two best friends Cassie and Jake but then one day new movie decides to cast random girls in town and her best friend Cassie convinces Paige to go with her and she does not expecting to receive the role and wham she becomes famous which is where our story takes us. Everything that Paige knew is gone her life turns and changes happen as if her her life is turned upside down such as her friends becoming distant from her because of her new famous life, torn between liking her best friend Jake and her new costar Rainer, above all that everyone has secrets which us deeper leaving us with "wtf" every episode we hit next. It's that damn good, can't for season 2!!!!!!

A show about actors, where noboady can actually act. With the exception of Carter Jenkins, Kieth Powers and Shawn Christian, there is no one that can really act on the show. Most performances are cringeworthy and you are constatly aware they you are watching a show, a show that isn't very good. Full of non-drama drama like "Will Paige get fired" or "Will the movie be a succes" answers we allready know since the show spoils it in the first five minutes. Other than that it's mostly teen drama and all the usual clishés. Springled with random namedropping of social media and celebreties way to famous to ever be on a show like this, just to show how hip with the kids this thing is, so it all comes off as forced. You find yourself wondering why you are watching tha show at all, and then you just stop.

Look, I'm binging this and it's oddly enjoyable, despite the fact that A. Not realistic, B. The kiddie fights and indignation are hilarious (it's like it was written by a teenager) and C. The cast are not charismatic.

It would have been great if they'd worked on the script and acting seriously - funnily enough.. Like what the show is about.
