Enredo

The story of a young autistic man, trapped in the throes of bereavement for the death of his mother and under the care of his ill-equipped father, who is brought back to life by the surprise appearance of an old friend.

Our story loiters on the re-acquaintance of old friends who happen upon one another after years apart. Alexander, who yearns for adventure and life, to explore and travel, but has been hurt by traumatic experiences and stunted in his growth, allowing himself to suffer in silence by dwelling on regrets and missed opportunities of the past. And Sarah, who is doing all these things and living her life the way Alexander would like to, offers hope and love: two things he has been sorely neglected of for some time. She unwittingly helps Alexander rediscover himself, but also reminds him of the things that hurt and scare him most.—Josh Merritt

Alexander - a nervous and damaged young man, a potential agoraphobe - happens upon an old friend: Sarah, a travelling musician, who hasn't been home in years and is only passing through while waiting for a connecting train. They haven't seen each other for a long time, but reminiscing comes naturally to them as they head to the station. Time isn't on their side, though, as Sarah has to leave soon. It's obvious and inevitable that they have grown apart and become estranged, but running and hiding are two things they have in common, and may be what bring them back together.—Josh Merritt
