My Daughter's Boyfriend

No pun intended - the short movie does hold a twist or a direction I did not entirely predict or thought of ... which I reckon is a good thing - not a total surprise, though most probably will expect this to be something else ... and show us more or rather different things.

That said, the acting is solid, but just having an interesting spin/ending is not enough to make this exceptional. It may be worth your while (depending on if you like short movies and dramas overall), but that is for you to decide. A mothers love for her daughter is above all ... yes we do have to deal with cliches too ... but that was to be expected ... don't you think? Yeah we've got this movies number ... for better or worse ... the world will not change or fall apart ....
