A Jornada dos Vikings

What a letdown. Was expecting to see Johnny Drama kill in this movie. Obviously I was disappointed. The massive talent that Johnny Drama brings to any role he takes on can lift even the weakest of scripts to great heights. I imagine his history of going on strike had something to do with the director not wanting his involvement. Their loss. His ability to create characters that are so immaculately constructed and take an audience on a journey they were surely not prepared for is a thing of beauty. Tis a shame we were left to wallow in the misery of what was so ungracioulsy bestowed upon us. It is my deepest hope the Drama has the opportunity to bring his talent to the franchise, and quite frankly build back better what has been destroyed by this travesty of film.

What can I say, this movie is a solid 4 star movie. Best intentions are evident. But from the beginning you can tell this is a low budget flick. Costumes are simple, and sets are as well. Each actor looks like they just came from having coffee at Starbucks...no need for any prep before shooting the next scene. That said the acting itself isn't half bad. The story is charming and fans of the time era will enjoy some things about it. But overall just a solid 4 stars at best.

Quite possibly the worst TV production ever. Wooden would be an undeserved compliment to the acting and the script lacks itself. Should be studied by aspiring actors, directors and producers as an example of what not to do.

Really? Close up of a castle!!! No castles in Scandinavia which ever looked like that, and none existed in the year that this was meant to be set. Women with lipstick. Warriors helmets with side hinged 'metal' strips that blow in the wind because they are made of plastic. A king with a crown that came out of a Christmas cracker. One good actor who was obviously paid a lot of money but only if he could be killed off early in the film. Costumes that are so colourful and clean that they look like they were bought fresh from a fancy dress costume shop. Cockney accents thrown in for no reason. Terrible movie.

For a low-budget movie, with an unknown cast (in majority), movie is not half as bad as i expected. If you accept the movie for what it is, a TV movie and accept the fact you're dealing in a fantasy/myth atmosphere, you will enjoy it.

I saw Last Knights the day before and let me tell you, the story was way better than that movie, even with such a amateur production. Colorful, well-paced, some "it's so bad its good" moments here and there, acceptable CGI (wolves are almost on par with Twilight).

If it was a mute movie in black & white from the 20s, it would be a classic, since its a TV movie with limited resources from nowadays... its a fun movie if you keep an open mind and can see the "Monty Phyton" behind all this silliness :D

Fun to watch, recommend a look, 6 to upgrade rate a bit, worth a 5
