Threebound

This is a fun indie rom com, with echoes of classic new york romances - youve got mail, when harry met sally, and one fine day all come to mind. The film navigates subtly through the sudden, unexpected possibility of discovering real love while on the rebound, and utilizes nyc beautifully as a backdrop. Great movie for dates and couples!

The premise is pretty simple. Two recently single people meet and hit it off. But they don't want their new appreciation for one another to just be a rebound thang. So instead of jumping in feet first, they decide that they need some other "experiences" before trying out a genuine relationship. Much of the usual awngst and miscommunication happens, because of course it does. I enjoyed this film. The leads were good, as was the ensemble. Hats off to Ms. Forstaz for starring and being a co-director. Brava!

I was sold on this movie from it's original premise, and fortunately for me it delivers. It fulfills it's potential with lots of fun and witty moments, but also a lot of rawness, honesty and insights. The acting is very strong, and the dialogue is so natural and interesting, that I was always engaged with the characters. They are flawed but believable, likeable and relatable. This film will make you feel a lot of emotions and connect with you on multiple levels.

A wonderful character driven story that had many moments where it effortlessly made me laugh. Each character brought a presence and unique energy that meshed well with each other, I also enjoyed the new fresh take on "rebound" relationships, with a really interesting idea for the story. I highly recommend it!!

Thre3bound is an amazing and refreshing indie spin on the classic rom-com and is anything but predictable. It showcases through a very honest lens the trials and tribulations of navigating relationships, as well as a spectacular glimpse into the wild ride known as being a New Yorker, and how the two coincide. The screenplay is modern and genuinely written, and examines the entire spectrum of emotions one goes through after picking the pieces up and putting them back together again after a life setback. It's delivered so effortlessly by the lead actors and supporting cast that it's hard not to feel as if you're a fly on the wall living out each hilarious and cringeworthy moment with them. And if you've ever lived in or spent any amount of time in NYC, the cinematography, editing, and score will make you fall in love with the city's vibrantly beating heart over and over again. A must watch that's guaranteed to give you the feels.
