Big budgeted production about the roguish and known twins that packs emotion , laughs , fantastic events and funny happenings. It is Christmas and twins are up to their old tricks . Naughty twins are punished for firing a toy shop and sent to a seemingly boring vacation by a boat trip . They embark along with their parents ,Carolina Lapausa , Jordi Bosch. But a terrifying storm rolls in and they are forced to seek shelter .They disembark at an Island , there meet an orphanage where children live without families and no rules , being run by the eccentric ruler Elena Anaya and assisted by an old servant , Fermi Reixach. But the parents suddenly disappear in the middle of night , and the naughty brothers discover a surprising secret behind the Island and its strange inhabitants .

Funny movie with plenty of thrills and adventures , being really influenced by Jules Verne : 20000 leagues underwater , Mysterious Island , HG Wells' Invisible man , J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan , among others .Adventure movie has everything for besument , and generates a sense of marvel , wonder and surprise with fast paced scenes and state-of-art FX that have you on the edge of your sea . This time the twins have gone too far and their punishment will be no Christmas vacation, to travel a mysterious destination at a remote island where they will find a lot of surprises and mysteries . According to director Oskar Santos was a lovely homage based on Luis Escobar characters . Sympathetic acting by the complete cast as Zipi , Zape played by Teo Planell, Toni Gómez , the eccentric orphanage keeper marvelously played by Elena Anaya and parents performed by Jordi Bosch, Carolina Lapausa .This Fernando Bovaira production , lavishly shot , is a fun and enjoyable movie concerning the beloved twins carrying out pranks , antics , frolics , mischiefs and winding in up into a rollercoaster adventure . However , it has little fidelity to the comic books , being a free renditíon.

It has a colorful and glimmering cinematography by Daniel Segura . And a rousing and impressive musical score by Fernando Velazquez . The motion picture was well directed by Oskar Santos who previously made Zipi , Zape y el club de la canica , For the good of others and TV series as Hispania and Crematorio. Produced in big budget by Fernando Bovaira who has financed many hit smashes such as : ¨Fin¨, ¨Sea inside¨ , ¨The Others¨ and ¨Mortadelo and Filemón¨. Rating : above average , well worth watching .

We watched this in Spanish class, I wish we we hadn't.

The acting in this movie is unconvincing, and the actors don't act a broad range of emotions.

Additionally, the film tried to be too much - it tried to be serious at the same time as a friendly family film. As a result, the plot is convoluted, and ridiculously silly- so it can be marketed towards children, and contains a weird, uncomfortable Oedipus complex that is badly executed. Thankfully, I didn't watch this with either of my parents.

The plot is neither captivating, nor intelligent, nor original - it's practically an adventure movie where they get stuck on a practically abandoned island, and meet an evil woman who wants to stay a child. Ring any bells?

In summary, don't watch it, it's bad and I don't see why anyone likes it.

My whole class loves zipi and zape i am their biggest fan best Spanish lesson EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 stars because I love zipi and zape this movie was so amzing and i love it alot !!!!!!!!

This movie is perfect. It manages to fit everything needed in a good story into a 1h40m SUPER MOVIE. I am taking cinema studies this year so i think i would know. This movie it PERFECTION. It has romance, danger, EXCITEMENT, fear, trauma! And children. People LOVE the children in this movie, and to be frank, so do I!! <33333.
