If you are a courier, you have a certain job to do. In this case, it's a convoy as the title suggests, so it's a couple of cars transporting something illegal (otherwise it wouldn't have most of its tension of course). It seems to me that someone did their homework regarding research. Be it because they were involved personally or because they asked the right people.

Still this is very bleak and while we have a lot of character moments, they are not the most likable people portrayed in film. Which makes it hard to connect for many viewers in the first place. So if the central idea does nothing for you, you may not want to watch this. Also the ending seems to try to do something dramatic that just doesn't quite work chemistry wise (in my humble opinion). Still more than decent effort and good action scenes

After crime insider « truands », always the same problem, the director can't film a shootout scene and the actors are very weak....for the same topic go see the original go fast with roshdy zem....

The film is about the passion of those who are forced to take risks, about the Islamic family, where are his elder brother and dream of luxurious living, vegetating in poverty. That's the best movie, so far, about Go fasts, those drug shipment convoys from Spain to French big cities, though motorways at full speed, to supply the suburbs. You already had GO FAST, back in 2008, starring Roschdy Zem, but this movie was to classical, with the scheme good cops vs bad guys. Here, that's totally different, it focuses only on the hoodlums who escort the drug shipments. I admit I prefer TRUANDS from Frederic Schoendoerffer. But, believe me, this crime flick is absolutely terrific, action packed, with a very good characterization, where the players are not actual actors but youngsters from the suburbs. Everything in their behavior and talking looks so real. Some of them may get the empathy of the audiences.

A very good crime action movie from France, with a Benoit Magimel again at his best.
