Jessica Simpson is returning to acting with a guest appearance on Hulu’s new legal drama All’s Fair, and opened up about working with Kim Kardashian.

Simpson performed during the American Idol Season 23 finale and talked about filming for the Ryan Murphy series.

“Filming All’s Fair was incredible. I had a blast,” Simpson told Entertainment Tonight. “I did eight hours of prosthetics, so it was very intense.”

The singer gave “props to the prosthetics team,” who told her she had “the most patience of anyone they’ve ever worked with.”

Teasing her character in the upcoming series, Simpson said, “I really embody someone that I am not, so I was definitely acting.”

The super-famous socialite and reality television icon continues her foray into the acting and producing world with her latest collaboration with prolific producer Ryan Murphy. The new legal drama series All's Fair finally has a release window!

Ahead of Disney's Upfronts presentation on Tuesday, May 13, Hulu officially unveiled a generous first look at All's Fair, complete with a two-minute teaser trailer, the key art poster, a number of images featuring the star-studded cast, and the coveted release window. While the streamer didn't provide a month, the legal drama will be released this fall on Hulu, which could be anytime between September and November.

When the series was first announced in December 2023, it's no secret that some might not have expected the show to be good.

Hulu has dropped the first teaser for Ryan Murphy’s upcoming legal drama “All’s Fair.”

The teaser, which can be seen below, shows off the series’ all-star cast, which includes: Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, and Matthew Noszka, with Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close. No official premiere date has been set, but the show is slated to launch in the fall on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally.

The trailer then pans between shots of several women looking fashionable, poised and confident from the boardroom to the courtroom as the “Cell Block Tango” from “Chicago” ominously plays.

“Get mad. Get hot,” Close’s character instructs. “Get revenge.”

The video then cuts to a voiceover from Kim Kardashian’s Allura Grant as she and her colleagues toast each other and powerwalk down hallways: “It’s our own boutique. Women representing women.”

But as the clip continues, things spiral out of control. An emotional Niecy Nash appears in a hospital gown. A tear-streaked Kardashian looks on horrified.

Their blanket title “Marked Men” referred to tattoos — a frequent motif in the prolific author’s several subsequent books. Now there’s a screen translation in “Marked Men: Rule + Shaw,” which ostensibly draws on the whole sextet but focuses on its first installment.

Whether this Fathom Events release will itself generate sequels is a question mark left dangling at the end of these 90-odd minutes, which play theaters nationwide Jan. 22 and 23. During her Jan. 13 Q&a with She Media CEO Samantha Skey (hosted by TVLine sister site Flow Space), Brooke Shields spoke warmly of recently acting alongside three-time Emmy winner/eight-time Academy Award nominee Glenn Close and two-time Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts.

TVLine now hears that Shields worked with Close and Watts as a guest star on All’s Fair, the “glossy” legal drama that the prolific Ryan Murphy has in the works at Hulu. (Neither Hulu nor 20th Television would confirm Shields’ casting.)

Ed O’Neill has been tapped for a major recurring role in All’s Fair, the upcoming Hulu ensemble legal drama from Ryan Murphy. He joins series regulars Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close, who also executive produce, as well as Teyana Taylor and Matthew Noszka.

No official description has been released for All’s Fair, in which Kardashian plays Los Angeles’ most successful divorce lawyer working at an all-female firm. O’Neill is believed to be playing the husband of the firm’s founder/co-owner (Close), a former powerful Hollywood studio head.

Murphy is set to direct All’s Fair, which he is writing and executive producing with Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Jamie Pachino, Lyn Greene and Richard Levine. Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun and Scott Robertson also exec produce. 20th Television produces in association with Ryan Murphy Television.

Another month, another star-studded new series from Ryan Murphy under his Disney deal. FX has given a series order to The Beauty, a drama starring Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope and Ashton Kutcher. Peters, Ramos and Pope also executive produce.

Co-created, written and exec produced by Murphy and Matt Hodgson, The Beauty is based on the comic books by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. Production on the 11-episode first season is slated to begin this fall, likely in November. Per usual for a Ryan Murphy project, no official details about the premise and the characters are provided.

Matthew Noszka has been cast as Kim Kardashian‘s rumored love interest in her new show All’s Fair.

The 31-year-old actor and model, who you’ll recognize from the likes of Star and No Hard Feelings, is the latest addition to the Ryan Murphy show. The cast also includes the likes of Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, Naomi Watts and Teyana Taylor.

After news of his casting was revealed, he took to social media to tease a key detail about the role.

Noszka is a model and actor whose credits include the Jennifer Lawrence-led rom-com “No Hard Feelings,” Amazon Prime Video’s “Perfect Addiction,” BET’s “Tales,” Fox’s “Star” and Netflix’s “Let It Snow.”

Little is known about “All’s Fair,” but it was previously reported that the series will follow Kardashian as a Los Angeles divorce lawyer in an all-female law firm headed by Close’s character.

Brad Pitt checked out a race during Qualifying Day at the F1 Grand Prix of Las Vegas at Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Friday (November 17) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
