Lawrence Karam

Hamid Lawrence Karam is a man of many talents. He is an entrepreneur, writer, actor and filmmaker. After a successful and very active career as an entrepreneur in the San Francisco region, he knew he had to get back to his passions, beginning with a love for both acting and film making as a story teller and one to perpetuate truth and love in the world. As a storyteller in film, he maintains his stance as a true peacemaker, and a lover of drama in film and TV, which according to Hamid Lawrence Karam, is a "love he fights for", "that love" being his love of writing for film of course and as a storyteller for starters. In a recent interview, he stated, "I am in constant resistance in a positive way of course" to work hard to be able to promote goodness, truth and progress in the world through my writing." His true passions revealed themselves at an early age, as all true passions do, as well as one's authentic self. He first entertained the audience in an on stage performance at the age of 8, which evoked the best kind of hilarity from Hamid Lawrence Karam, and belly laughs from the audience, as he made his childhood debut portraying a comedic role. He recalls, "joyfully entertaining the audience". In 2008, he portrayed a conservative reporter in the movie entitled, "Collapse" produced by Rob Nelson. He first studied acting at a college in Suffolk County, New York. A bit later in life, he went on to become the floor director of a television station in the Napa Valley region of California. He writes in a truthful, authentic manner always in accordance with his thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions, maintaining his truth. States, Hamid Lawrence Karam, "only the truth is liberating" and therefore, "my pen is my sword, in that in order to perpetuate peace, we must write and speak in an inspiring manner based in truth". He clearly believes and knows that a life well lived is one where one's passions are utilized and gifts and talents are perpetuated and refined, while advocating for truth and using a good foundation of well earned knowledge to make a positive difference in the world. He has conceptualized the film, "33 Day War - The Hidden Truth", and is one of the Executive Directors, the writer of the film, and the director of this forthcoming film project which is about bringing forth peace through learning, and understanding, war is not the answer.
