Created by Basar Basaran, Lovers Anonymous is a Turkish romantic drama centered around a hopeless love-hating cynic, Cem, and a woman who believes in romantic possibilities, Hazal. Cem was a socially awkward man who detested the idea of making public appearances, so he had an actor impersonate him in public. Cem’s unique opinion on love drew quite a crowd, but no one knew that the man they saw on stage was not Cem but his impersonator.
