Another Bosch: Legacy star has opened up about the show's unexpected cancellation. Similar to Titus Welliver's reaction, Denise G. Sanchez, who plays Reina Vasquez in the police procedural, expressed surprise at Legacy ending after three seasons despite its popularity.

Speaking with Game Rant, Sanchez touched on the #SaveBosch campaign that fans have put together in the wake of the show's cancellation. "It's been really beautiful to see the fans support the show. I feel like it's picked up a bit more steam now. It took a while for people to catch on and there was so much I wanted to say, but I had to remain respectful," she explained. "There was a lot that I didn't know. Even with the Save Bosch: Legacy group, I was proactive but silent because there were so many theories, and I was like, 'Could be, could be'. I know as much as you guys.

Bosch: Legacy gave audiences no shortage of emotional punches in its final season, but for Denise G. Sanchez, one scene stood above the rest. Her character, Reina Vasquez, a tough-as-nails LAPD officer and Maddie Bosch’s longtime partner, was faced with an impossible decision: arresting her own nephew for taking part in robbery schemes.

“Yeah, it was certainly difficult,” Sanchez told Game Rant. “As I was reading the script, I was like, this is absolutely something Reina Vasquez would do.”

The moment, which unfolded late in Season 3, was a turning point for Vasquez — a character who had steadily grown from a supporting role into one of the series’ emotional anchors. For Sanchez, it was also the most gut-wrenching scene she’s ever filmed.

Can you believe that 2025 is just around the corner? It’s a year that we’ll say goodbye to a lot of great streaming shows, and here are eight that we’re not quite ready for.

Yes, we know that all good things have to come to an end. If I’m honest, I’d rather a show ends on a high when it intended to end rather than be dragged out. As much as I love Supernatural, the first five seasons (which is where the series was supposed to end) remain the best, and I sometimes think that the next 10 seasons were part of some dream world for Dean.

The original Bosch series followed Titus Welliver as Hieronymus "Harry" Bosch, a hardened, no-nonsense LAPD detective from the Hollywood Homicide division. Harry is a tough detective who usually follows his own rules. And even though some might question his methods and his distinct dislike for authority, Harry always finds the bad guy.

Bosch ended after seven seasons in 2021. But thanks to the popularity of the show and the critical acclaim Bosch received, a sequel series was quickly announced; Bosch: Legacy. Bosch: Legacy follows Harry after he resigns from the LAPD and becomes a private investigator. And besides Harry, Bosch: Legacy also follows Harry's daughter Maddie Bosch, as a rookie cop for the LAPD, and Honey Chandler, the controversial defense attorney who crossed paths multiple times with Harry in the original Bosch.

Harry Bosch will be ending his journey on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video with the upcoming third season of Bosch: Legacy. Deadline revealed that season three will end the series and debut on the streaming services in March.

Denise G. Sanchez jumped at the chance to step into the role of no-nonsense cop Reina Vasquez on Amazon Freevee’s Bosch: Legacy. In this continuation of the original series, she partners up with Harry Bosch’s (Titus Welliver) daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz), who learns about some of the hardest parts of the job firsthand while working with the more experienced Officer Vasquez. It’s a big opportunity for Sanchez, who has recurred on The Good Place and Mayans M.C. She initially auditioned for Bosch’s final season on Prime Video as a waitress in a Mexican restaurant.
