Ludo (2016) is his first major work on screen and remains the closest to his heart till date. He shot for it in 2014 and it had a huge impact on him wanting to act professionally. After auditioning for the part of Pele, he got a callback after eight months.

The first time he ever went up on stage was as a kid in standard one during his local community Durga Puja celebrations. The adults were staging 'Achalayatan' by Rabindranath Tagore and needed a few kids. He had one line ' Shey je Bhoyanok' which translates as 'It is frightening.'.

He wanted to become a documentary film maker after watching 'Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani' like the character 'Bunny' played by Ranbir Kapoor. He got accepted to a Masters course in Media and Cultural Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai in 2014 and was all set to go but declined in a moment of epiphany, to pursue the dream of becoming an actor.

He dropped out of a Masters course in Applied Economics Course from Presidency University in 2014. He belongs to the last batch of Presidency College (2010-2013) before it turned into an university. He has a Bachelors degree in Economics which he is yet to collect.

He co-founded the erstwhile Kolkata based theatre company Mad About Drama when he was 20 years old, which became a driving force and a new voice in the arts and culture scene of Kolkata during the period 2011-2018, breaking cultural boundaries and creating a platform for people who wanted to pursue the arts full time. His most memorable moment onstage is performing for the first time at Prithvi Theatre Mumbai in 2014.
