Tushar Ajgaonkar is a Screenwriter-Director-Chef, based in Mumbai.

Previously, Tushar played a pivotal role in the core development teams of various commissioned projects: a feature-length movie on India's first-ever Olympics gold medalist, Abhinav Bindra, a web series chronicling the Ramsay Brothers - the family that pioneered the horror genre with low-budget cult movies, and the official biopic web series on the life and work of P V Narasimha Rao.
Beyond screenwriting, Tushar, as a Director/Creative Producer, brings to the table an impressive portfolio of hundreds of advertising commercials, infomercials, and documentaries. With over 21 years of experience spanning filmmaking, storytelling, and marketing communications, he has collaborated with many of the country's leading brands.
On a personal note, Tushar's journey began as a menial construction labourer at the early age of eleven, working his way up to eventually earning a distinction in Computer Engineering. A MENSA member, he is placed in the top one percentile of high-IQ individuals globally.
Born to a Konkani father and a Bengali mother, Tushar draws from a dramatically rich upbringing in Igatpuri, a colonial railway town, immersed in a plural society with Anglo-Indians and diverse communities. A natural storyteller, he seizes every chance to narrate the incredible tales brewing in his mind - be it on the silver screen, sharing bedtime stories with his son, or crafting elaborate meals for family and friends.
