During an AKB48 handshake event in Takizawa, Iwate on May 25, 2014, a man attacked several people with a saw. She, Anna Iriyama & a staff member suffered several injuries to their heads and hands, then had to undergo surgery. She took a 4-month hiatus from AKB48 to recover.

Announced her graduation from AKB48 in March 2015.
