Tineke Robson is an award-winning actress, stunt performer, freediver, and death doula based in Aotearoa New Zealand. Born in Wellington and raised in The Netherlands, she trained in musical theatre and holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts. Her performance journey began at age nine and has since expanded to include screen acting, physical theatre, stage combat, and immersive live experiences.
She made her screen debut in Spartacus and later worked in London on productions like Justice League, where her background in dance, gymnastics, and boxing led her naturally into stunt and special action work. Tineke is fluent in Dutch and has also worked as a model in New Zealand, the UK, and the Netherlands.
In 2025, she won Best Actress at the New York Film & Female Actress Awards for her lead performance in Tomorrow - a raw and intimate short film exploring the complexities of suicide, grief, and human connection.
A passionate freediver with a deep love for the ocean, Tineke finds strength and stillness in the water - elements she often brings into both her creative and personal practices. She also works as a death doula, offering grounded, compassionate care to individuals and families navigating the end of life. Her work - whether underwater, on set, or in silence beside a client - is anchored in presence, honesty, and connection.
