He was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2024 King's Birthday Honours List for his services to Sport and to the community in East Hertfordshire. He is a Chair, Lea Recreation Society and Chair for Wodson Park Trust in Ware, Hertfordshire, England.
