Country music star Brantley Gilbert made an impromptu interruption to his concert Friday night – disappearing off stage to help his pregnant wife deliver their baby on the tour bus.

Saturday Gilbert posted a video to Instagram, detailing what he called “the craziest night of my life.”

The New York Post reports that Gilbert’s wife Amber went into labor just he as was starting his set at the Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo, Miss., famously the birthplace of Elvis Presley. A midwife was reportedly on the bus to assist, according to Country Rebel website.

After the baby was born – a third child for the couple – Gilbert returned to stage where he told the crowd, “We got a baby!”

Ford was stricken after a performance at Dierks Bently’s Whiskey Row. He is in critical condition in the intensive care unit at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, but is considered stable, reports indicate.

Ford is a multiplatinum singer-songwriter with several No. 1 hits to his name. Dirt Road Anthem, recorded with Brantley Gilbert, was covered by Jason Aldean for his 2010 album, My Kinda Party. It was nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance.

Ford’s own albums include Ride Through the Country, Declaration of Independence, and Must Be the Country.

Five Finger Death Punch have announced a digital deluxe edition of their 2022 album Afterlife, which will include a new song called “This Is the Way” featuring the late rapper Dmx.

The digital deluxe edition and new single are set to arrive April 5th alongside a music video for the track directed by Hype Williams.

In addition to the LP’s original 12-song tracklist (produced by Kevin Churko), the expanded edition is bolstered by a total of four bonus tracks: the aforementioned song with Dmx and three acoustic versions.

Toby Keith, a country music superstar and Songwriters Hall of Famer, died Monday after a three-year battle with stomach cancer. He was 62.

His family announced his death in a post on Instagram: “Toby Keith passed peacefully last night on February 5th, surrounded by his family. He fought his fight with grace and courage. Please respect the privacy of his family at this time.”

Born Toby Keith Covel on July 8, 1961, in Clinton, Ok, Keith amassed three dozen Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart from 1993-2011, 20 of which hit No. 1. Eleven of his singles went platinum and 10 more went gold. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2015.

Ryan Seacrest returns to “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” on Dec. 31 for his 17th run as co-host. He first began hosting along with Clark in 2005, and took over as the main emcee after Clark’s death in 2012.

For 2022, Seacrest will share hosting duties with YouTube star Liza Koshy and country singer Jessie James Decker. The party will span both coasts, in both New York and Los Angeles. Performances include Duran Duran, j-hope, Jax, New Edition. Ciara, Fitz & The Tantrums, Maddie & Tae, Shaggy, Ben Platt, Aly & Aj, Halle Bailey, Tomorrow x Together, Bailey Zimmerman, Lauren Spencer Smith, Wiz Khalifa, Finneas, Armani White, Betty Who, Dove Cameron and Nicky Youre.

A year ago, Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper did tequila shots as they ushered in 2022 on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live,” but this year the booze party is on hold. Cohen has promised he won’t be drinking, but that the annual countdown will still be “a blast,” and that they’ll be partying responsibly.

Cohen and Cooper will be back at Times Square beginning at 8 pm. Et on CNN, with guests Jean Smart and Cheri Oteri. Scheduled performances include Usher, Kevin Hart, Patti Labelle, Nick Cannon, Jenifer Lewis, John Stamos, and Tenacious D’s Jack Black and Kyle Gass.

At 12:30am Et, Don Lemon will take over the broadcast live from New Orleans to ring in the New Year in the Central Time Zone.

New Year’s Eve festivities are being broadcast across the country Saturday, from Miami to Los Angeles to the famous Times Square ball drop in New York City.

The official Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration will kick off at 6 p.m. Et with the lighting and raising of the New Year’s Eve Ball atop One Times Square. Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett will return to host the event, which will feature performances from KT Tunstall, LL Cool J, Chlöe, Journey, and Karol G, as well as a Planet Fitness Dance Performance with Liza Koshy, and the Uso Show Troupe. Jeremy Hassell will co-host.

WME said Monday that music agent Aaron Tannenbaum has joined the agency as a partner based in its Nashville office. Tannenbaum, who had been at CAA since 2010, specializes in country artists and has repped singers including Luke Combs, Brantley Gilbert, Michael Ray and Walker Hays among others. A Capitol Fourth is set to mark its 40th anniversary with a completely overhauled show.

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, PBS’ annual 4th of July celebration will not be held on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Instead, the special will feature pre-taped performances from iconic locations across the country, including Los Angeles, Nashville, New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. It will then conclude with a live fireworks show from the nation’s capitol.
