A film composer and multi-instrumentalist from Scotland, Simon gained a Masters in composition in London in 2000, then cut his teeth in London releasing records and touring internationally with bands to Europe and USA. After moving to Barcelona in 2002 he concentrated on composing and music production for other artists and original music for media, brands, film and TV.
He worked on the score for Traces Of Sandalwood by director Maria Ripoll, that won Best Picture at the Premis Gaudís 2015 in Spain. Maria then invited him to work with her on all her next films, including the record breaking Spanish hit comedy Now Or Never, then Don't Blame Your Karma, the Netflix hit Live Once, Love Twice, Mexican influencer caper War Of Likes, and the indie dramedy Pistolas.
He also scored the 2018 acclaimed feature documentary Take The Ball Pass The Ball about Barca Football Club under Pep Guardiola and then 2022's The Phenomenon, the sports biopic on Ronaldo R9 and his journey winning the world cup for Brazil.
