The core cast of Hulu’s unscripted series The Secret Live of Mormon Wives gathered for a drama-filled evening, with the first teaser, released Monday, showing the ladies, and men, of MomTok picking right back up on the drama that the 10-episode second season ended with.

“Let’s get into it,” reunion special host Nick Viall said to kick off the teaser. And get into they do — jumping to a clip of Viall grilling castmember Jessi Ngatikaura on whether she cheated. Castmember Whitney Leavitt, who emerged from the show’s first season as the apparent antagonist, said she wouldn’t trust an unnamed “her.” There were plenty of tears throughout the teaser — among the women and men. The episode will “uncover secrets and scandals, never-before-seen footage and a surprise announcement,” according to a release.

Per Disney, viewership on the season premiere is up from the first season, though the company didn’t give specifics on that.

It’s difficult to qualify this performance, since Disney doesn’t release viewing data for every title. It also frequently changes the measurement window for which it releases data, adding another complicated layer to any comparisons.

Previously, Pixar’s Dream Productions tallied 5.6M views in five days, and The Acolyte generated 11.1M in the same time frame. However, neither of these titles are likely to have the same core audience as The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, so direct comparisons wouldn’t do much good.

Disney did also say that the reality series has held a top spot on the Hulu Top 15 Today list since Season 2 premiered.

Season 5 of the docuseries, which concluded tonight, featured several milestones in the sisters’ lives, including Nikki and Artem’s romantic French engagement and the twins finding out they’re both pregnant and due within weeks of each other.

The current fifth season of “Total Bellas” averaged nearly 1 million total viewers after seven days of delayed viewing, as well as 598,000 viewers in the key 18-49 demographic and 444,000 viewers among women aged 18-49. Per the network, that represents increased of 9%, 7% and 15% in the three metrics from the previous season. Season 5 is currently the highest-rated season all key in two years.

“Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club” has been canceled after one season at MTV, TheWrap has learned.

A source close to the show says the cable channel was looking to “rework some things,” as there were “creative differences” behind the scenes, but Lindsay Lohan’s representatives put out statements saying that the actress would not return for another season.

According to Page Six, Lohan Beach House, the Mykonos nightclub where the show is set, has closed — though TheWrap’s source was unable to verify this information at the time of publication.

Snap Inc. is developing a new genre of “Docu Series” programming for Snapchat, with the first show focused on Orange County social media darlings, set to debut later this year.

“Endless Summer,” currently in production, will follow social stars Summer Mckeen and Dylan Jordan as they navigate through the world of big-time influencers: photoshoots, brand partnerships, and living on their own for the first time. The show is pegged for a September launch, according to a Snap spokesperson.

Snap has partnered with reality TV stalwart Bunim/Murray Productions — the company behind “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” “The Real World,” and “Project Runway” — to produce the show.

Snap is expanding its original programming into a new genre: soft-scripted docu-series, with the first Snapchat Show in this area from Bunim-Murray Productions starring teen YouTube creator Summer Mckeen.

“Endless Summer” is currently in production and slated to debut in September. The coming-of-age series follows the life of 19-year-old Summer Mckeen, a beauty and fashion vlogger who has her own jewelry line, living on her own for the first time in Laguna Beach — next door to her boyfriend, Dylan Jordan.

With “Endless Summer” and other docu-series, Snap wants to build a slate of character-driven serialized narratives focused on the stories of “compelling people around the world as they go through dramatic life moments, incredible journeys, and challenging relationships,” said Sean Mills, Snap’s senior director of content programming. The largest group of daily active Snapchatters are 18-24, and the docu-series format has huge appeal for this cohort.

E!, as a rule, is better known for Kardashians than activism, but the upcoming “Citizen Rose” is a new look for the network. The limited series chronicles actor/activist Rose McGowan’s life in the wake of the revolution that has taken down industry figures like Harvey Weinstein and Louis Ck, which she was instrumental in making happen by speaking out.

“Citizen Rose” is the latest iteration of McGowan’s ongoing campaign to, as she put it bluntly, “try to stop international rapists and child molesters.”

McGowan told reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour Tuesday that she first began filming footage for “Citizen Rose” three years ago, when she also began trademarking “Rose Army” in all its forms.
