The Bachelorette Monday night, which focused primarily on Andi Dorfman meeting the families of the final four suitors, ended with a sobering moment when the news of Eric Hill’s death is shared with the dating show contestants.

Andi’s first stop on her cross-country date whirlwind is Milwaukee, Wisc., where she’s introduced to Nick’s family. Before meeting the parents, Andi is treated to a trip to a local brewery where the two down samples of the conveniently named “Nick & Andi” microbrew.

Once at the family home, Andi faces all 10 of Nick’s siblings and his parents. Nick, of course, has to weather his fair share of grilling as well. His brothers and sisters want to know if Andi fully accepts who he is and if she makes him laugh – which apparently she doesn’t, but that’s okay because she does make him smile.

For as long as most dance-music aficionados can recall, Miami has been the Stateside destination for sun, fun and the hottest music year-round. But in just a short period of time, a new player has emerged. In the blink of an eye, America's Playground has morphed into America's Dance Music Capital.

Consider the 200,000 electronica fans who descended on Las Vegas International Speedway for the Electric Daisy Carnival in June, or the billboards up and down the Strip plastered with dance-music superstars such as Tiësto, Dirty South and deadmau5. It's hard to believe that just a few years ago, Sin City catered to an entirely different scene.

The hour didn’t provide great strides in any storylines, instead focusing on subtle steps towards the back half of the season. To wit: it looks as though Charlotte’s baby and Marti’s questions about her father will play a big role later on.

Dan is back in his adorable boyfriend/awesome best friend glory. His friendship with Marti is one of the most enjoyable things about this show. It almost seemed like no time passed and the awkward phase between the two never happened. These two really remind me of Lucas and Haley from One Tree Hill, especially in the earlier seasons. Although it may seem that this pair as a couple is the endgame for the series, Dan and Savannah is the right move for the time being.

Meanwhile, it looks like Lancer will be welcoming a new student.
