Her exotic mixed ethnicity and ancestry includes: Italian, Mexican (her maternal grandmother Margaret Mary Martínez was a direct descendent of the historical California ranchero: Ygnacio Martínez of Los Californios), Irish, Swedish, French, Scottish-Canadian, Iberian, Baltic, East Asian, Spanish, Portuguese, Angolan, Congolese and Cherokee Native American.

She worked as an intern and later, Casting assistant, at American Eagle Studios casting agency.

She was Miss Sonoma County 2006 and was a title holder at Miss California Scholarship Program and Miss America preliminaries. She won the Talent award and Scholarship for her performance of "Summertime" from Porgy & Bess musical.

She is family friends with actor, Jon Provost and writer/actress, Laurie Jacobson.

Born and raised in Santa Rosa, California (same hometown as her favorite actress', Natalie Wood), but moved in 1994 to Anchorage, Alaska, where she grew up until her family moved back to Northern California in 2000.
