In 2009, Bones and Kinema Citrus released Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 -- an anime whose nightmarish premise haunted millions of viewers during its initial broadcast. Now, the iconic 11-episode anime series has found a new streaming home.
RetroCrush, a streaming site dedicated to classic anime works, spotlighted its acquisition of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 via its official X (formerly Twitter) page. RetroCrush's programming manager, who goes by "Matt" on Reddit's r/anime board, also highlighted the upcoming release on the latter site earlier this month. "...I'm super excited to announce that we are going to exclusively re-release the disaster anime Tokyo Magnitude 8.0," the post reads. The first two episodes will debut on June 27, with one new episode added daily until July 6. Additionally, both the original Japanese and English dubbed versions of the series will be available to viewers.

He was just supposed to be passing by, but Ronin, the former Sith Lord character who appeared in the first season of the animated anthology Star Wars: Visions, will be returning in the third season of the Lucasfilm series which debuts on Disney+ on Oct. 29 this year.
The big reveal came at the Star Wars Celebration event in Tokyo, in a panel dedicated to the hit show, where Visions executive producer James Waugh confirmed that three of the most popular storylines from the first season of the show — “The Duel,” “The Village Bride” and “The Ninth Jedi” — will be continuing in the upcoming third volume of episodes.
Waugh also revealed a “bold new direction” for Visions with the introduction of the Star Wars: Visions Presents banner, which he said would be giving filmmakers a chance to tell deeper and more longform stories without the constraints of the shorter runtime of the typical Visions episodes.
