Andrew Troy is an American film producer, director, screenwriter, and founder of the Hollywood film production companies Troy Entertainment and The Park Entertainment. For over two decades, Troy has combined his creative, technical, and business background to finance and produce, while also supervising over 65 films, series, and documentaries for companies including Sony, Dream Works, Warner Bros., HBO, BBC, and the Natural Resources Defense Council, among others. He has held long-running collaborations with Art & John Linson (Yellowstone, Sons of Anarchy), Shane Salerno (Armageddon, Salinger, Avatar), and Ron Weiner (30 Rock, Silicon Valley, Arrested Development).
Troy recently directed the feature film "Midnight in the Orange Grove" from the screenplay written by Troy and "American Psycho" writer producer, Guinevere Turner.
Troy's next feature film is "Standing Bear", about that landmark 1879 Trial of Standing Bear vs General Crook, was co-written and co-directed by Jim Sheridan (My Left Foot, In The Name of the Father, In America). Standing Bear is being produced by Troy Entertrainment and Hell's Kitchen Limited alongside longtime Anonymous Content President & COO, Paul Green (The Revenant, Spotlight, The Fifth Estate).
Beyond Standing Bear, Troy and Sheridan have formed a strategic partnership to expand Hell's Kitchen Limited (Ireland) into North America with the launch of Hell's Kitchen Limited (America).
Additional films and series in development include the Native themed suspense series "Tinted Windows" that Troy is co-producing with Belladona Productions and Rene Bastian (Funny Games, Sweet Tooth, Honey Boy). Troy also wrote the limited series "Powhatan Girl", about the true life story of Matoaka 'Pocahontas' Wahuseneca, enlisting production partners Willam J. Mcdonald, creator of HBO's hit series ROME, and Mercury Pictures CEO, Francis O'Toole.
