She announced her marriage on January 11, 2019.

Before she graduated from high school in 2008, she used to live in Ichinomiya, Aichi, where she used to took the Shinkansen to attend recordings, travelling from Nagoya to Tokyo. She would then attend a university in Tokyo and live there.

On 2017, she played her first starring role as Corticarte Apa Lagranges in the anime television series Shinkyoku Sokai Polyphonica.

She made her live-action debut as Mieko Nitta in the drama series Here Is Greenwood.

In 2015 she received the Synergy Award for her role in Yo-Kai Watch at the 9th Seiyu Awards.

Her music career began in 2008, where she performed the song "Sekai de Ichiban Yabai Koi", which was used as the fourth ending theme to the anime series Kyoran Kazoku Nikki.

She made her voice acting debut in 2007, playing the role of a student in the anime television series Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!.

In 2013 she received the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 7th Seiyu Awards.

In January 2006, she participated in the Toho Cinderella audition held by Toho Entertainment.

Her voice acting career began when she participated in an audition held by Sony Music Entertainment Japan subsidiary Music Ray'n from 2005 to 2006.

She receive the Best Rookie award in the 3rd Seiyuu Awards in 2009.

In 2018, she appeared as herself in the television drama series Koe Girl!, which featured her as a voice actress taking care of the series' main characters; the series also featured footage from one of her concerts.

She decided to become a voice actress when she was in her third year of junior high school, and became interested in acting, and wanted to appear in a Studio Ghibli film.

One of her junior high and high school classmates was Haneyuri.

She shares the same birthday as Kentaro Yabuki, the manga artist of To LOVE-Ru. The two are close enough to each other that they send each other birthday LINE messages every year.

At the Music Ray'n Girls Haru Choco Matsuri event in 2009, it is announced that she and other Music Ray'n affiliated voice actresses [nm Aki Toyosaki, Ayahi Takagaki, and Minako Kotobuki will form the unit Sphere, and they released their first single "Future Stream" on April 22, 2009, and was used as the opening theme of Hatsukoi Limited.
