- He was elected a Royal Fellow of the Academy of Engineering before being awarded Knight Bachelor of the Order of the British Empire in the 2015 Queen's Birthday Honours List for his services to Motorsport. He was the former director for Williams Hybrid Power Ltd. in London, England.
